A characterful rural retreat, almost a farmstay, close to delightful Denmark and an easy drive to Albany. The studio is well appointed, offering all you would ask for a relaxing retreat. Our visit was enhanced by the local birdlife, from Blue Wren to Wedgetail Eagle, including domestic ducks and geese. Also spotted were sheep with lambs and trainee musterdogs.. a great venue, well hosted.

I guess it’s difficult to describe and add to near perfection. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere with tranquil surroundings bathed in nature, remote but not isolated only a short drive to Denmark etc. in the UK we would call this a lodge, it’s well equipped, wonderfully decorated with some amazing quirky items dotted around, some of which we guess would have been found on the property ? Like the front of an Austin J series truck, amazing what can be done with a Hills Rotary washing line !! It has everything you need for a real peaceful getaway we consider ourselves lucky and honoured to have stayed there and would certainly book again if in the area.

A very pleasant setting, decore and space for Cottage 2. 20 mins from town in a private setting. Well furnished and functional kitchen. We suggest the mattress needs changing. Lovely bread, butter and eggs to welcome guests and a delightful drive past ducks and geese on the pond.

Very comfortable stay in a lovely setting. Our second visit and would go back regularly. Good communication with owners, generous provisions on arrival. Comfy bed, good bbq, woodburner for winter stays tastefully decorated yet cosy at the same time. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant accommodation. From the moment we first stepped into the cottage, everything was perfect. The welcome basket was great, especially after the long drive from Perth. The bed was comfortable. We have no complaints whatsoever. We look forward to staying here again.
