Booked for dinners after traveling from Qld. Ordered marinated lamb cutlets and asked was was in the marinade, they didn’t know. Bar staff too busy chatting with mates to serve and pub was pretty empty. Lamb cutlets finally arrived after a long wait; 3 cutlets that were the tiniest I have ever seen. A bit bigger than a 50cent piece. ($35) and thin as. They were tasty and we told the waitress we were a little disappointed with the size she agreed and just laughed saying she’s mentioned it to the chef before. Staff in restaurant need uniforms.

Both of our meals were virtually inedible. The wine was clearly the best aspect but the food was not only different to the description on the menu, it was simply aweful. The service itself was ok but the food tasted like it had been reheated several times before. Very disappointing.

Room was very clean and updated. First night was good second night was extremely loud with party at back of pub near accomodation. People running pub were lovely and we had a nice dinner there the first night. Don’t forget you are near the train line.

Room was advertised at a weekly of $350 BY *********** from ; June 19th to June 26th on their website. Obviously, there was "a bad case of inflation" as this hotel charged me $424.83. My ONLY income is a old age pension. Fully INTENDED to SPEND money in the restaurant as the food there is very good. "Beyond the pale".........

Absolutely atrocious meals! Obviously we’re all reheated, well poorly reheated. Staff had no idea of what was on the menu or prices asking for my assistance! Also responsible service of alcohol might need to be reviewed, I know people have a good time at the pub but there’s having a good time and being wasted and arrogant
