Sehr schöne Zimmer nebeneinander. Sehr netter Empfang. Das Frühstück mit Weltklasse Rühreier im kleinen Pfännchen mit Schinken und Käse. Waren rundum sehr zufrieden und können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Waren mit E Bike vor Ort gerne wieder.

We found this gem of a hotel on line and the reviews were mixed which just goes to prove that you can't please everyone. I was tempted to not write a review in hopes of keeping this place all to myself. It is a small family run hotel within 10 minutes of the Ramstein Airforce base. The hotel property was emasculate. There is a pear tree in the courtyard that is over 100 years old. We arrived early in hopes of leaving our baggage there while we looked around the village. We were met by the hotel owner Octavio and she allowed us to check in early and take a quick nap before we ventured out. I was amazed at how quiet and clean the place was. If you are looking for Vegas style entertainment this is not the place for you. If you are looking for peace and serenity and a little piece of heaven this is the place to find it. The room was just the right size and my wife and I slept well on our very comfortable bed. In the morning, Octavio served breakfast. I am an early riser and my wife and I had the dining area all to ourselves for most of the time. I can't say enough about how wonderful the breakfast was. We had fresh pastries and breads, local butter, fresh fruit and juice and the best coffee I have had in a long time. There was also a meat and cheese tray and all the food tasted amazing. We both ordered omelets and they were amazing. While we were at breakfast the maid tidied up our room. This was a last minute trip for us so we were not able to get a rental car but it really didn't matter. There is a great bus system in Germany and a bus stop only a few blocks from the hotel. One evening we wanted to go to a nice restaurant and Octavio offered to drive us there. It was a mile from the hotel and the food there was awesome and the people were very friendly. She offered to come back and get us but we decided to walk back to the hotel. We walked the mile in the dark and we weren't at all afraid of anything although we did scare some deer on the walk home. The air was alive with birds singing which we found strange for night time but we loved it. This place allows pets but not on the bed and they don't allow children under 15 and we loved both of those rules. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed and we will be going back.

We stayed one month and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The apartment was clean and roomy. Nice amenities and Octavia was the best. Breakfasts were amazing as well. We would definitely stay there again. We also stayed in their hotel. There is air conditioning at the hotel which I am told is very unusual.
