Die Lage des Hotels und die Umgebung sind wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind freundlich, geräumig, neuwertig und haben zum Teil eine grandiose Aussicht. Die gemütlichen Betten und die Ruhe garantieren einen erholsamen Schlaf. An 2 Tagen in der Woche ist das Restaurant leider geschlossen, ansonsten kann man sein Abendessen, bei gutem Wetter, auf der großen Terrasse, ebenfalls mit wunderschönem Ausblick genießen. Die Besitzer sind überaus gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unsere Hündin war willkommen und wir haben uns alle dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Schöne Lage , die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen ,das Essen ehrlich : was aber nicht angemessen ist der schroffe unfreundliche Ton der Wirtin! Wegen Wetterwechsel wurden wir von der Terrasse verjagt ,mit knappen Ansagen und Stirnrunzeln (nein,wir wollen kein Dessert…) und weiteren schnippischen Bemerkungen keineswegs gastfreundlich bedient.Nie wieder!

I stayed one month in this hotel before I moved to the area. It is a small hotel on the top of the hill in the nature. It doesn´t offer all the luxury of big hotels but you will find a home like atmosphere here, friendly owners and amazing views to the Black Forest. First week I stayed in the old room furnished in the country style, later I was moved to the second floor into modern renovated room. Both were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was simple as it is a small hotel with not too many guests, but I was always served like a queen. The owner greeted me friendly every morning, asking how I am with a real interesst, prepared a fresh coffee, offered news paper and when there were not too many guests we had a nice talk. There is a big parking in front of the hotel, several walking and cycling trails starting right in front of the hotel, but it is far to the city.

My wife and I first stayed at this accommodation last year and were so impressed that we returned again recently, when it was just as good. The hosts/owners are still very welcoming and our floor two room with balcony overlooking the Schwarzwald was again excellent. We also enjoyed eating in its restaurant each evening and the food was impressive and reasonably priced. Vielen Dank Svein und Barbera.

My wife and I were searching for somewhere to spend a few days in the southern Schwarzwald area just across the border from Switzerland and came across this lovely hotel/restaurant. It met all our needs and the husband and wife owners and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our spacious double room and the ensuite bathroom looked like new and were very clean and we also had a good sized balcony to sit out on with amazing views. Due to their Thursday and Friday Ruhetags we only had an evening meal once, but the food was very nice, accompanied by great service. We very much hope to stay here again the next time we return to this area and can very much recommend it to others.

Wir haben hier auf unserer Westwegwanderung Station gemacht und wurden trotz eigentlichem Ruhetag sehr herzlich von den Inhabern empfangen und köstlich bewirtet. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.
