I have just visited the beautiful Yorkshire coast and my stay was made even more memorable staying at the Park View Quest House. Simon and Siobhan the proprietors of the stunning property made me feel so welcome and were so helpful with local info. The breakfast room is superb providing everything from a varied selection of cereals, fruit to a wonderful cooked breakfast. I recommend to anyone who visits Scarborough to book themselves into perfectly Located Park View Quest house. Thank you Simon And Siobhan hope to visit again soon. Stewart

As a couple who have frequented Scarborough yearly for the past 17yrs we like to think we have a good knowledge of some of the loveliest places to stay. The Park View (once known as the Sunningdale under different management) is a beautiful top notch B&B. We stayed for five days this September and could not have been happier. If you love a plush feel to your stays away look no further. Stunningly decorated rooms with beautiful solid oak furniture, exquisite heavy drapes and bed linen, finished off with wallpaper that gives the bedroom such a warm classic feel, this truly is a real gem of a place to stay. The rooms are equipped with an en-suite, again of a high standard and a shower that would easily accommodate two people, so if mobility is an issue there is plenty of room of space. The rooms also has its own tea and coffee making facilities which include a Tassimo coffee maker with pods, other teas and coffees and a kettle. The beautiful dining room on the first floor is bistro style which provides breakfasts only…but what a breakfast!. Really good quality ingredients. Cereals, fresh fruits and yoghurts, juices, speciality teas as well as your usual brown and white toast available at every sitting. Based just across from Peasholm park this B&B is perfectly situated for close access to the beach, local bars such as the new ‘Talk Bar’ where the staff are friendly and accommodating and the Hideout for drinks and food, and last but not least the spectacular North Bay Fisheries for fish and chips. Needless to say we are staying once again in three weeks for a weekend stay. There are different sizes of rooms available so do ask what the options are. I would also recommend booking directly with the B&B, price is better and you get that wonderful breakfast thrown in.
