Meet up with my husband n a friend went to the bar to get a drink but got refused one due to a member of staff been rude that I smell only day before I coloured my hair so I wounder if it was that what they could smell but the point is they refused me a drink went I felt dizzy due to my diabetes and told the lad you refusing a drink as a diabetes and didn't have a answer for that I felt disgusted that they would do that specially when someone has a medical conditions like diabetes I wouldn't go back in again till I get a apology from them I felt be little

Booked this hotel for a last minute decision to visit the seaside. Nicely surprised. Very clean, tea & coffee, toiletries, lift to rooms. Full English included which was nicely cooked and presented. Above a bar but couldn’t hear any noise as rooms are on second floor and above. Lovely stay and not too expensive for where it is situated.

My visit here was ruined by a rude and arrogant bar maid, asked her price of wine and dared to look at the screen to see the result as sometimes I find hard to hear when slot people in to be asked second time small med or large without prices . The screen was swiftly pointed at the floor so I could see . With the attitude of would I look at the screen in other shops, of course I would if asking prices, very rude of her , won’t be going there again

Just returned from dickens for Easter weekend Perfect location checked into room small compact spotless and cosy Hairdryer good shower toiletries included brilliant white towels Headed to the bar small and friendly but obviously understaffed but those working were very hard working . The lift up to rooms was small but adequate we were on 3rd floor great views The breakfast was amazing full English cooked well and hot staff lovely and hard working Thanks all for a fab stay

Nice pub just down street from Travel lodge. Nice atmosphere with polite friendly staff.Has TV s.Drinks reasonably priced.Not stayed in a room here but was talking to someother visitors who were staying and they told me the room they're were staying in was very nice and breakfasts were really nice

Nice bar clean and tidy beer ok but the afternoon bar staff ignorant- second time being here but never again. The pub chain should send bar staff on a course on how to say please and thank you on another just growl at patrons. Absolute disgrace- don't go in !!!

What a lovely pub, staff very helpful, rooms clean and nice.. the beds were sooo comfy room was really warm we had to turn radiators down. Tea and coffee provided.. everywhere was very clean even breakfast room was nice Breakfast was fab too they were all really nice and would defo go back again 😊

The older barmaid ripped me off said take 50p for yourself. The She took £1. Then put one on favevook then got clocked. So it’s the establishment that ate the culprits condoning the dishonesty of their staff. No wonder it wasn’t as busy as it used to be

The rooms are huge, clean and well presented The staff are friendly and welcoming The breakfast is 10/10 the parched egg was runny and not snotty The shower was great after it had eventually warmed up You can come and go as you please with the key card provided There is a lift We will be back for sure
