EN: Like ***y other tourists, we had a tiger safari in Ranthambhore on our itinerary. Our stay at Bagh Serai turned out to be a delightful surprise. As you turn onto the road leading to the resort, you might wonder where you’ve ended up. But don’t judge too quickly—the resort itself is fantastic. This isn’t just another international hotel chain that could be anywhere in the world; it’s a truly Indian experience. Guests can choose between a treehouse and a cottage. The treehouses offer stunning views, while the charming cottages provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. We opted for a cottage, which came with a private outdoor "pool" and a small terrace—perfect for relaxing in peace. There's also a simple yet refreshing pool to cool off in. However, what truly sets Bagh Serai apart is its restaurant and the warm, genuine hospitality. The food is absolutely outstanding—easily the best we had on this trip. Every dish is made with fresh, organic vegetables from the resort’s own garden, elevating the flavors even more. The staff goes out of their way to surprise and delight you, making the experience truly unforgettable. This is a place you simply have to experience for yourself! NL: Net als veel andere toeristen hadden wij een tijgersafari in Ranthambhore op onze planning staan. Ons verblijf in Bagh Serai bleek een geweldige verrassing. Wanneer je de weg naar het resort inslaat, vraag je je misschien af waar je terechtkomt. Maar oordeel niet te snel—het resort zelf is fantastisch. Dit is geen standaard internationale hotelketen die je overal ter wereld zou kunnen vinden, maar een authentieke Indiase ervaring. Gasten kunnen kiezen tussen een boomhut en een cottage. De boomhutten bieden een prachtig uitzicht, terwijl de sfeervolle cottages een warme en gezellige uitstraling hebben. Wij kozen voor een cottage, die was voorzien van een privé buiten-"pool" en een klein terras—perfect om in alle rust te ontspannen. Daarnaast is er een eenvoudig maar verfrissend zwembad om in af te koelen. Wat Bagh Serai echter echt bijzonder maakt, is het restaurant en de warme, oprechte gastvrijheid. Het eten is werkelijk fantastisch—het beste dat we deze reis hebben gehad. Alle gerechten worden bereid met verse, biologische groenten uit de eigen tuin, wat de smaken nog intenser maakt. Het personeel doet er alles aan om je te verrassen en in de watten te leggen, waardoor het verblijf onvergetelijk wordt. Dit is een plek die je gewoon zelf moet ervaren!

One of the best homely stays we’ve had. The manager, Arjun ji was more than welcoming. Hansraj from the house keeping team was a delight. Special mention to chef hansraj for cooking up crazy dishes. Do try their laal maans which they prepare live!

This is a very beautiful nature resort with lot of greenary and peace around. The tree house and the rustic villas have beautiful ambience and are perfectly blended with nature. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and helpful and provide a great service. The food prepared here is using all organic vegetables grown within the resort premises and is up to the mark. Best budget resort in Ranthambore.
