Soggiorno perfetto. Perché tutti i desiderata sono stati rispettati a cominciare dalla posizione sul lago Salmaa, il più grande della F., dal desiderio di fare un bagno immergendomi nelle acque fresche non fredde della Scandinavia, dall'acqua limpida percorsa dai guizzi dei pesciolini, dal parco prospicente l'albergo con barchette e sdraio, dal lungolago che conduce diritto alla fortezza di Kristiinankatu, maniero storico del '600, alla stanza che seppure molto piccola era piacevole. A piano terra, due passi e subito in giardino, altri due metri nel patio e poco più in là l' immensità del lago Salmaa. Elegante la sala per la colazione con soffitti alti specchi arredi d'epoca salottini e un buffet completo di dolce e salato. Cena all'aperto gradevole, pesce di lago ovviamente, birra e granatina. Alle 22:00 luce.Un tramonto perfetto.

When you have the hotel and restaurant under the same venue it’s difficult to review if everything ain’t the same. The Hotel The staff are great and it’s a neat boutique hotel with great views. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Certainly value for money and worth visiting. I give the hotel 4 stars. The restaurant Again staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they forgot my appetizer. The main was nice but small portion swamped in sauce with a few stringy veggies. Not worth anywhere near the value they charged. I wouldn’t dine here again. Go out and find better places to eat. I give the restaurant 2 stars.

This restaurant offered the best vendace I have had in Savonlinna. The terrace offered a nice athmosphere. Also the service was friendly. I hade a smoked vendace salad and my partner enjoyed a burger which also tasted excellent. A warm recommendation:)
