Lovely location near the riverwalk. Beautiful old restored historic buildings. Each building combined has all the amenities you would, but due to keeping the historic buildings y’know historic none of them are attached and it’s HOT in the the Savannah in the summer.
The elevators were broke for two of the fours days I was there and they kept encouraging me to walk up six flights of stairs. A few times I had to ask if someone could let me use the staff elevator as it wasn’t suggested as an option. To get down, I had to call the front desk (quite busy understandably) or go down six flights of stairs. Might’ve been better for someone whose knee wasn’t messed up.
The decoration was lovely and the food at the restaurants was good. I was surprised the breakfast vouchers did not cover a full breakfast no matter what or where you ate, but maybe that’s normal for this type of hotel? I don’t often splurge on such a nice hotel.
