薩斯卡通東區貝斯特韋斯特優質飯店(Best Western Plus East Side)

This hotel will not let residents of its own city stay in its hotel. I booked a room for myself to get away. Their policy is to not let residents of Saskatoon stay in their Saskatoon hotel. I’ve never heard of anything more ridiculous. I was told that all hotels in Saskatoon do the same thing which is totally not true, as I was able to book another hotel at the travel lodge.

Upon check-in we were told without a credit card we couldn't stay.. Even though the room was paid for and we offered a cash or debit deposit. So, we hassled a family member for their credit card number (embarrassing) so we wouldn't have paid for room we couldn't use. After the first night we set the housekeeping light, but when we returned in the evening nothing was touched - beds weren't made, no clean towels, garbage not removed - even though signage in the lobby told us that is what we could expect after the first night of a two night stay. Called the front desk and they sent someone who did a quick, noisy and unfriendly job of replacing towels and taking the garbage out.. Of course he rolled the trash can right into the room to do it. Yuck. We have enjoyed the Best Western in several cities, but certainly not this one. Won't be back here, and really a poor reflection on the chain. We may have to start staying with a chain who has more consistency of quality and service.

Great service, clean rooms, and breakfast each day was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights and had a great stay. Loved the little bit of extra security from the underground parkade. The pool and waterslide were a hit with the kids and the location was close to everything we needed.

Squeaky clean. We stayed 1 night on a stat weekend and it was quiet, parking was great, staff were great. Breakfast room was well stocked with a wide variety of choices. Checked out the mini gym, I did not use it this time but will in future. Definitely a great place to stay!

Property was good. My only complaint is the included breakfast. It was available until 10am, and we went down about 9 each morning (for 3 consecutive days). By then, they ran out of the hot foods, yogurt and breads/ muffins. A disappoin**ent.

I had a problem with the housekeeping process. I had to complain 4 times for the bed sheet to be changed, the floor was never slept till I complained, even the toilets. I think the style of hospitality is different from other parts of the world.

This property was very clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and all the details were taken care of. We were travelling with a toddler and an infant and we were able to utilize a complimentary play pen which made things much easier for our family.

Did not liken how we checked in left our stuff in room and come back to us being locked out of our room and then find other ppl in our room and our stuff gone though and removed from room

The front desk were super professional and respectfully engaging. They made my stay seamless. The breakfast was outstanding with variable options. The rooms were super clean and housekeeping very respectful and timely in attending to my needs.
