Upon check-in we were told without a credit card we couldn't stay.. Even though the room was paid for and we offered a cash or debit deposit. So, we hassled a family member for their credit card number (embarrassing) so we wouldn't have paid for room we couldn't use.
After the first night we set the housekeeping light, but when we returned in the evening nothing was touched - beds weren't made, no clean towels, garbage not removed - even though signage in the lobby told us that is what we could expect after the first night of a two night stay. Called the front desk and they sent someone who did a quick, noisy and unfriendly job of replacing towels and taking the garbage out.. Of course he rolled the trash can right into the room to do it. Yuck.
We have enjoyed the Best Western in several cities, but certainly not this one. Won't be back here, and really a poor reflection on the chain. We may have to start staying with a chain who has more consistency of quality and service.
