蒙特弗迪托斯卡納(Monteverdi Tuscany)

Vorrei raccontare la mia brutta esperienza vissuta la sera del 5 aprile 2022 anche se non ho propriamente soggiornato nella struttura. Mi ero infatti parcheggiato con il camper nel parcheggio dove non c’era nessun cartello di divieto o che indicasse che era privato. La guardia giurata è passata a bussarmi alle 21 avvisandomi che non potevo stare lì. Ho chiesto se gentilmente potevo andare via al mattino prestissimo perché la sera non vedo bene e rischiavo di fare un disastro. Dopo avere inizialmente accordato la cosa la guardia giurata è ripassata una mezzoretta dopo, verso le 22, sempre bussando insistentemente alla porta e intimandomi stavolta di andarmene con le buone o con le cattive. A nulla sono valse tutte le mie richieste di lasciarmi poche ore in un park completamente vuoto, isolato, lontano dal paese, chiamiamolo così perché ormai di paese non ha più niente. Questo per far capire le persone che tengono il posto.

I could not find a direct link for the restaruant but could not let it go without review. We traveled there from cortona for lunch nd it was the best exeprience we had. I’ve spoken about thse forces of natures and Simone was the most memorable Somme ever. Opinionated in that loving Italian way. He was our guide and our nanny - scolding us if we were being obviously pedestrian or over complciating things. Like when our firend wanted to mix balsamic with olive oil for bread dipping simpling saying “For me? No.” He was thrilled when I ordered the Nativi Wines - not because it was expensive - in fact was among the most affordable but because he was from there and the wines represented history. the steak was to die for. Delicious Fried artichokes Ham Nero Etruscan Tartare Nativi wines Delicious olive oil It is must tript o take.

This property is hands down the most magical place I've ever stayed... And I've traveled to nearly 70 countries and all 7 continents! From the moment we arrived, I felt at peace. The gorgeously renovated medieval town feels so isolated yet so homey. The staff are incredible and cater to your every needs and the common areas are just gorgeous and so well thought out. The food was some of the best I've ever had in all of Italy, and I loved taking a cooking class on one of our days there. We were in the six bedroom private villa and it was absolutely magical... I didn't want to leave! To the Monteverdi family, grazie mille for a memorable stay. I hope to be back!!

Sitting on top of a hill overlooking beautiful sights, this restored town/resort is just an amazing place in an amazing location with unparalleled personal service. Staying at Monteverdi made this one of our best vacations ever. The cooking class was also unbelievable.

Amazing place, unique view, delicious flavors , very helpful staff. Place is a totally renovated and rebirth castle-village, keeps the style from medieval period. Quiet place, peaceful area. Unique experience.

We loved our recent stay. May 2-6. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Jonathan our concierge helped us throughout the year long planning process. He was even able to arrange our special helicopter transfer from Rome to the hotel. Giancarla and her culinary staff created special dishes at each and every meal. Highly recommend this hidden retreat.
