I would recommend staying in Imerovigli. It is right in between Oia and Fira, so good access, but away from cruise ship crowds. And the view of the Caldera was amazing. We really liked Caldera's Majesty-- it's all about the view. We arrived at night after a long day of traveling and wanted to get in the hot tub, but it was lukewarm at best. And the shower was cold. Tamara helped us with switching on the hot water, but even then, the highest temp of the hot tub is 35 degrees, which really felt like bath water. Probably OK for a hot summer day, but at night in late Sept, it was only passable. Given the price we paid per night, it would have been nice to have a hot, hot tub. The bathroom was in our room--I thought we were going to get a different room--so for what we paid, a little disappointing. All in all, it was a very nice property and liked the experience of staying there.

Most amazing stay, with the most amazing room. Words do not describe the room and views these have. Staff all great and helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Amazing stay. Had food delivered from the local bakery one evening to enjoy on the balcony with the sunset.

Amazing experience at Calderas Majesty. We booked room 4 and has an amazing view of Caldera. The room its big enough for 1 couple and has some litlle amenities inside the room that makes a pleasant stay. The best was the communication with general manager or owner who help us to book and Tamara our host, she is the friendliest person in the world. Make us feel like in home and was quite pending of our requests. We love this place and i really recommend it.
