多米聖托裡尼島度假村

Under middel Det var slet ikke prisen værd. Den mandlige receptionist var noget af det mest IKKE imødekommende menneske der længe er mødt. Rengøringen var bare overfladisk og morgenmaden var hverken frisk eller god. Vi boede to andre steder under dette ophold og det her hotel var det dyreste og ringeste af de tre. Sikkert et hotel der var pænt i 90’erne, men vedligeholdelse stoppede også der. Billederne er meget taknemmelige og bedre end virkeligheden.

The welcome was great. The room was nice with comfortable bed and very spacious and clean. Staff was very nice, although they could not source ibuprofen in the evening when we ran out. The location was not ideal. The surrounding area was not very pretty outside of the resort. The sea is not readily accessible. The individual pool was not heated so it felt cold. The spa area of the resort had a nice soaking area, but also was not heated, so not enjoyable for us. The breakfast was included and very nice food with a lovely view. We had dinner one evening and it was mediocre. The setting outside was nice though and service was excellent. The shuttle is great going to Oia. The town was very very very crowded. People say it is walkable to Oia, but no sidewalk and much traffic make it unsafe to walk. Overall, there were lots of nice things about Domes Santorini, but I would not recommend it and would never return there.

El hotel es tranquilo, tipo Boutique, siempre los mismos trabajadores, rondan por todos lados, entran y salen de las villas como fue en mi caso, los empleados son amables y serviciales, los desayunos tienes que anotarlo en una hoja que ellos te dan para que los rellenes y luego se los devuelves anotando la hora para que te lo lleven a la habitación/villa donde estés alojado! Los traslados… ni qué decir que es lo peor de Santorini, todo en cash y muy muy caro, en una ocasión el hotel me proporcionó a uno de sus conductores… me llevo el señor amablemente a ver una iglesia en lo q me esperaba fuera, cuando salí a los 10 minutos maximo el conductor se largó-desapareció- se fue, tuve que avisar al hotel y enseguida me enviaron a otro, espere sobre unos 20 minutos, me pidieron disculpas y las acepté sin problemas, volví a ver al conductor y creo que le quedó bien claro lo mal y pésimo de su servicio! Nunca más use sus conductores, al finalizar y hacer el check out solo me dijeron el monto a pagar, en una calculadora, no vi facturas, ticket de mis comidas firmadas, nada de nada, me dijeron que habían invitado a unas copas y en otra ocasión me sirvieron 2 postres de cortesía y por cierto muy muy agradecida, pero repito no sé si me cobraron la ida y vuelta del conductor, no sé cuánto me descontaron, ni cuánto exacto gasté, pues NO me enseñaron ningun recibo, ticket, factura, les pedí si me iban a entregar algo y me dijeron que NO. Por cierto,’si haces la reserva y pagas el hotel en caso que ocurra algo no podrás cancelarlo, ni siquiera que te descuenten una noche y regresarte el dinero, ojo porq no tiene cancelación!

We booked to stay for 7 nights but left after 1. The hotel has beautiful views, the pool area is lovely and many of the staff do the best they can although front of house was brusque and seemed to want to get any interaction with us over as quickly as possible. We are a family of five, we booked a two bedrooms pool villa. The room was dated, we noticed wires at ceiling level wrapped in tape in the bathroom which did not look safe. The room felt dirty, was very dark and cramped for five people and their luggage. There were places to put clothes but not anywhere near sufficient for 5 people and nowhere to put luggage out of the way. There were ants in my daughter’s bed. One of the double beds (which are built into the room, so no chance of shifting it) was directly under the ac unit, which made sleeping very uncomfortable, the extra bed placed in the other bedroom had the same problem. The issues we had with the room were such that there was no point in complaining to staff as moving a bed built into the room would not be possible, the size of the room could not be altered, along with it being impossible to move ac units. So basically our issues were to do with the fundamental size and design of the room and would not have been able to be fixed. We were provided with 3 sunbeds for 5 people, and although we could have asked this to be changed all the other things wrong with the room meant we didn’t bother since by the time this became an issue we had already decided to leave. We went to another hotel, which was cheaper, better appointed and with much more spacious rooms. When we went to say we were checking out, we told them the room did not work for us there was little concern that we had found the room so unacceptable that we were going to leave. Please be very careful if you are considering this hotel. Just to reiterate it does not face the caldera (we knew this before booking so was not a reason we left), additionally the road outside is busy, and looks pretty dangerous to walk along you would definitely need a hire car to stay here.

L’hotel ha una struttura molto bella e le camere sono pulite, meritando un 9/10 per la pulizia. Tuttavia, l’esperienza al ristorante non è stata all’altezza: abbiamo cenato in una piccola sala e il pollo con patate che abbiamo ordinato era deludente. La palestra, inoltre, lascia a desiderare, con il 50% degli attrezzi fuori uso. La colazione in camera è accettabile, con un punteggio di 7/10. Purtroppo, il servizio di noleggio scooter offerto dall’hotel è stato pessimo e non all’altezza di un hotel a 4 stelle. Consigliamo vivamente di noleggiare uno scooter autonomamente e non tramite la struttura. Detto ciò, la posizione dell’hotel è ottima: con il motorino è possibile raggiungere qualsiasi punto dell’isola in 15 minuti, mentre senza di esso, gli spostamenti diventano difficoltosi. In conclusione esperienza positiva ed un bel posto. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile.
