黑沙公寓飯店

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad! Eerste twee dagen in Hotel/Appartement Oxygen verbleven en daarna 6 dagen in Black Sand. Beide Hotels/Appartementen liggen op toplocatie. Bij aankomst werden wij hartelijk verwelkomd door eigenaresse en haar man Supervriendelijke mensen. Mantha neemt alle tijd om alles duidelijk uit te leggen en niets is haar te veel gevraagd. De Appartementen zijn daarnaast perfect schoon net zoals de gehele accommodatie. Kortom een absolute aanrader.

TOPLOCATIE !!! Rustig genoeg om een chillvakantie te hebben. Achter de hoek ligt het strand al. Maar vooral Mantha en haar familie zijn TOPPERS. Niks is te veel, altijd een vriendelijke lach, iets vragen over het eiland een hele uitleg. Propere en ruime kamers, zeer proper zwembad, lekker eten. Als ik toch iets moet zeggen is dan dat de wifi af en toe hapert maar dat is maar om iets te zeggen.

Anniversary 10 day break. We were greeted by the amazing Mantha who cannot do enough for you who gave us a complimentary welcome drink, she guided us through the Hotel’s policy and without rushing us ,took us to our room. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was comfortable clean and quirky. The room was kept very clean daily throughout our stay with regular towel and bed linen changes. The grounds of the apartments were immaculate, cleaners were always busy doing something. Breakfast was sufficient enough to see you throughout most of the day (continental style) and a good choice of fresh fruits, tea , coffee and fresh orange. You can have as much or as little as you want. Mine consisted of toast & Jam and lots of fresh coffee. The pool is perfect and Mantha provides towels free of charge which you can exchange for clean ones. You also get given towel clips for your sun bed return them when you leave the pool. The pool was quiet the first few days but expected at the start of season. Thank you Mantha and Stephanos for making our holiday so special. Thank you for arranging my beautiful flowers for the room. We will definitely return at some point to these amazing Apartments. Perfect spot to explore the island. We used the public transport to explore the island , very efficient and cheap €2 euro per person per journey.

We've just returned from a wonderful week at Black Sand Apartments. We were a group of 3 adults and stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was much more spacious than we expected! Definitely agree with previous reviews that the current pictures on the Jet2 website don't do the place justice. We arrived at around 11pm and Mantha was there to welcome us. She is an amazing host and can't do enough for you. She said that if we ever got into any issues anywhere on the island to just give her a call! The breakfast was varied and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the provision of PG Tips tea bags! The pool area was great and never too busy, and the food at the pool bar was great for a pool day lunch. Kamari itself is a great base to explore Santorini. There are loads of great restaurants and it is much more affordable than the Fira/Oia side of the island, but really easy to visit those areas using the public bus service. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Black Sand Apartments and hope to be back one day!

WOW!! We just came back from another fantastic week in Santorini. Booked with Jet2holidays to stay at Black Sands Apartments on a B&B basis, staying in a standard double room. we landed late and reached the hotel at 11pm - the coach drops you almost at the front door and you have 150m to walk to the hotel(max!) We were met and welcomed by Mantha to the apartments, check in was easy and straight forward. Mantha outlined everything breakfast times (8-10) pool bar, food orders, etc. and also asked to check if you have any food allergies / requirements. Mantha showed us to our room which had everything you needed; air con, kettle, fridge, tv(never switched it on once). there was an extremely welcome 2l bottle of water in the fridge. bathroom had a huge walk in shower, big enough for two. it was a power shower which was simply joyous to stand under !! (had a switch from overhead to hand held showerhead for washing hair, not that I have any!) went for breakfast and Mantha is there to great you and welcome you to a new day. breakfast has everything you need in a breakfast, muesli/cereal option - continental option - fried option - croissants / fresh bread, jams, honey, nutella, coffee, water, juice, etc. the pool area has plenty of beds, with none of this 5am towel wars! the pool is good size to do lengths (or widths)and has a jacuzzi section at one end. the pool bar is open from 10am until 10pm, with food being served from 10am until 9pm. when we had a pool day we ate lunch at the pool bar and were not disappointed in the slightest, the food was delicious and sizeable portions, with it being very reasonably priced. bar man is a great bloke, and the young lady chef is a great cook. the hotel is centrally located on the road back from the actual beach front (if that makes sense) and is literally a five minute walk from the beach bars and restaurants. it has a perfect location for wobbling back after a couple of cocktails (too many) on the front. Now, going back to Mantha..... Mantha is THE perfect host. Nothing is too much trouble for her and always wants to know you are happy and having the best time. despite our late nite check in, she was still as happy as a lark the following morning for breakfast, she is infectious with her helpfulness, whether thats asking where to eat, where to drink, attractions to go and see, bus times, where to get the bus. we are getting married next year and after only day two of our holiday, we have booked the honeymoon and will be stopping at Black Sands Apartments again. a point to note when you are looking online, the photos do not do Black Sands Apartments the justice they deserve. This was our second visit to Black Sands. Martha is an incredible host; The barman Raeed (not sure about spelling) is very helpful and friendly. Black Sands is a value for money, quiet little haven which is definitely worth a visit. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed with linen changed daily. With 5 mins walk of beach and restaurants. Amazing stay.
