天使開放式公寓(Angel Studios)

La struttura è grande, in un posto tranquillo, ma a neanche 10 minuti da Fira andando a piedi e da lì è possibile prendere bus per qualsiasi destinazione. Inoltre c'è una fermata dei bus a 50m dall'albergo per raggiungere le spiagge e l'aeroporto. La stanza è gradevole, pulitissima, è molto particolareggiata dal gusto della proprietaria, Rania, una persona squisita che ci ha fatto sentire a casa a tanti chilometri di distanza da casa. La disponibilità e la gentilezza di Rania è un valore aggiunto che va oltre qualsiasi servizio e confort. La colazione, che si può consumare in giardino o sul balcone della propria camera, è varia e preparata ogni giorno secondo le proprie richieste. Da andarci assolutamente!!

La proprietaria è deliziosa, affabile, veramente trattamento perfetto. La nostra camera,violet,era perfetta, pulitissima e ogni richiesta è stata esaudita. La colazione servita in giardino, è veramente completa,con dolci fatti in casa. Onestamente più di così non potremo chiedere. Tutto perfetto,unica pecca è il televisore senza antenna parabolica,quindi solo digitale greco ...3 canali...ma in fondo a Santorini la televisione è l'ultimo dei problemi....

The hosts were indeed quite nice so it feels strange having to write this, but I wish I had seen more honest reviews before we booked. The decoration is... something else, very kitsch bordering on creepy, and the room, while cleaned everyday, still seemed outdated and in need of a make-over. Didn't feel like Santorini at all, more like an old motel in America... Because of covid, breakfast is being served by the bakery on the other side of the street and the owner doesn't seem too keen on having the pension's clients, she makes it clear that it is not her priority so it takes way too much time. The location is good, in that all the buses stop nearby (about 200 m), but the surroundings aren't pleasant, just convenient. We've had much nicer stays elsewhere in Greece and therefore wouldn't recommend it unless you can get past the weird vibe and all you want to do is stay by the pool. A much better choice would be to stay in the old village of Karterados, or in Akrotiri.

We absolutely loved our stay at Angel Studios. The ladies who run the hotel are so kind and helpful, really lovely people. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The swimming pool and area were also very clean, and it's a really nice pool. If we had any questions or needed help planning where to go, where to eat, travel issues etc, they were always on hand to help. Bed was comfy, the A/C worked great. There were zero mosquitos! I always get bitten a lot in Greece but for the first time I'm leaving Greece bite-free! The bathroom in our room was especially nice, a very long room with a rain shower that also has a side nozzle. The room was decorated nicely with cute little touches. In terms of location, it's about 10 minutes' walk from Fira, or less than 5 minutes on the bus/driving. There are 3 cafes within a minute's walk, a couple of gyros places just up the street, a taverna, and a mini-market, so you have everything you need. The shops and restaurants on the road from Katherathos to Fira are much less expensive than places in Fira, with the same or sometimes better quality. The hotel is quiet at night, it's sort of in a dip which I think stops any nearby noise reaching it. A perfect stay, could not be happier. Really excellent value for money.
