The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. 非常好的酒店，離商場比較近

住很舒適,清和優美,有許多備選品的早餐,午餐信件和合適的晚餐,很優美的位置靠近哥斯塔納拉購物和餐廳。

酒店位置很好，隔音也很好，周圍有商場超市，對麪有很多餐廳，服務很好，比較熱情，頂樓有游泳池，但是游泳池很小，還有一些健身器械，房間比較乾淨，不過不適應智利這邊的牀品，被套都是上麪一層布，下麪一層布，不像中國把被芯包起來，但是智利這邊都是這樣，也不錯了

The lobby and outside of this hotel looked nice. However, when we got to our room, we were very disappointed. The room was old and dated, especially the carpet. We were glad we brought flip flops to walk around in. The shower had mildew, especially on the fixtures. We were on the second floor. Not sure if the higher floors were nicer. The location was great, as it was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants, shops, and sights. The breakfast was another good thing about this hotel. It had a great variety of hot and cold items. It sustained us for much of the day. Other than the location and breakfast, I would recommend trying a different hotel until this property goes through a major renovation.

I gave this hotel 3 stars because of its location and friendly service in the breakfast room . We checked in the evening about 9 pm and the desk clerk knew little to no English . Luckily I was traveling with someone who spoke Spanish but even he had trouble understanding the clerk. He kept asking for our exit papers for leaving Chile . Until he showed us a copy of our PDI form did we understand what he was talking about . The carpets are well worn in the hallways and the rooms , the furniture is also well worn.There was no view except our room looked into apartments across the alleyway . The welcome drink was limited to about 3 choices and again the bartender knew no English , besides having no personality. The breakfast room was pleasant and had average choices … the young lady working the breakfast room recooked our eggs as they were very runny and not edible , she remembered us the following day and Immediately had our eggs the way we preferred. She was very pleasant ! The day desk clerk spoke very good English and was very helpful storing ourluggage as we had a late pick up to the airport . The hotel was clean and had large open spaces . Very centrally located , close to the shopping center inside Gran Costanera Center , the largest and tallest building in South America . Lots of restaurants and bars close by , very nice neighborhood. We felt safe .

Hotel mostra sinais da idade, como pisos descascados e móveis surrados, porém tudo funcionou, inclusive o ar condicionado. Limpeza impecável e ótima localização. Poderiam melhor o café da manhã, que não possui produtos de boa qualidade, além de faltar itens como salada de frutas logo no início. O café deveria começar mais cedo, pois há passeios que saem antes das 07h, e nada é oferecido. Chegamos pouco antes das 14h mas mesmo assim o senhor da recepção nos fez esperar dar 14h pra fazer o checkin, e obviamente o hotel não estava lotado…, porém saímos 08h no checkout e nem se fala em reembolso. essa falta de pequenas gentilezas faz a diferença, vale a pena considerar.

O hotel é bem simples, mas é muito bem localizado. Há muitos bares e restaurantes por perto e está pertinho do Costanera Center e do ponto de ônibus da Turistik e com uma caminhadinha vc chega no Parque Metropolitano. Todas as funcionárias do hotel são super simpáticas e atenciosas, o quarto é bem limpo e a cama é super confortável. Recomendo muito para quem quer se hospedar em Providencia.
