Hôtel de charme avec un personnel très dévoué et très sympathique. La location de vélo est gratuite et vous permet en 10 ou 15 minutes de rejoindre Venice Beach et la jetée de Santa Monica. Le parking est payant est assez cher vers 55 $ avec un service de valet. J’y reviendrais sans hésiter.

We have had the privilege of staying at Palihouse Santa Monica twice now and about to book again. It was the most wonderful hotel experience we have ever had - generous hospitality, luxurious and spacious guest rooms, beautiful abundant gardens and amazing restaurant - it is all a truly magical experience. Heartfelt thank you to Hector and the team for making it such a joy and memorable experience for our family.

I absolutely loved this hotel - it felt like coming home to my private little villa every evening. The flowers are fragrant and it's just gorgeous. The rooms were gigantic, with kitchen, living room, dressing room... All in great taste, decor, with old finishings. Floors that creak. Totally charming. A secret hideaway, where no one wants to be found. I jogged to the beach in the mornings (there is no gym or pool - that's ok for me), and had breakfast in the secret garden in the back. (The service was a bit slow so only did this twice.) The staff were like family by the end - especially Louis and his brother who were so sweet and helpful. All international guests, who I made friends with from Paris and London mostly. Only notes of WARNING: 1--Bring your own WATER from day 1, they don't have a complimentary bottle upon arrival, and their bottles are through-the-roof expensive. 2--There is no hotel parking, only valet parking you have to pay for. There is a garage one block away for 1/4 the price and you can park yourself. 3--The hotel is dry, no liquor license. But you are allowed to bring your own bottles. As you have a kitchen that's easy. So stack up the champagne bottles! 4--No dinner at the hotel, but super charming restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again especially with family and when on extended stay for projects. Love love.

The location of this hotel is excellent and the manager and all the staff are super helpful and friendly. the hotel and grounds are beautiful. But, it's a heritage property and it is old. The rooms are charming, but not very functional (esp. avoid room 204). I found the Pali hotel in Westwood to be a much better property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palihouse Santa Monica. Definitely better than your average 3 star hotel, you can expect a 5 star treatment from the staff and facility. Loved the details and touches they put in the lobby, the grounds, the hallways, and the rooms. Tucked away in a neighborhood and a few miles away from the main streets so you’ll be able to enjoy a quiet night and rest. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the LA area.

I expected a little more given the price. Parking was expensive and rooms were not worth the price. Incredible location and rooms were clean, but nothing special here. Giving it a 3/5 because it could easily be a fit for someone else's vibe.

We just traveling to Santa Monica to visit family and my son suggested the Palihouse. The staff was very friendly especially Jacklyn who doubled as front desk and waitress, and Gavin. They were responsive to all our needs. Our room was next to the lobby. my wife wanted to be on first floor. In the morning I used the cozy lobby to catch up on emails. Wireless worked well. Coffee is complentary and will make your hairstand up.!The breakfast burrito was excellent and enough for 2 people. They should add oatmeal to the menu. The grounds are very nice. Bed was comfortable. I think I would like a bit larger room. The bathroom was old style but everything worked. located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of stores. Fast Uber response. Price lower compared to more modern hotels. We would return

Nice hotel in Santa Monica. Old hotel vibes, huge room. The elevator is one of the oldest we have seen, still functional. The bed mattress and pillows need to be replaced. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Walkable to restaurants, farmer’s market and Santa Monica pier.
