Always has been a funky kinda place and still holds true! If you want stay in a place that gives you the feel of the "good old"days in SantaFe, The El Rey is just that. Cute little bar to sit and chillax sipping on some smooth tequila or a glass of wine before you head out to explore Santa Fe and all its gems or cozy in your room with the fireplace and a book. The El Rey is a great place to Stay!

El Rey Court is a great place to stay in Santa Fe. Minutes from the Plaza, close to great food and shopping and very cool vibe. Beautiful grounds too.

My husband and I stayed here as a pit stop on a long roadtrip.
El Ray Court was an excellent choice. The king sized bed was so comfortable. We were able to walk and get dinner and enjoy an amazing margarita from the bar.

Lovely place to stay. Exceptionally clean, quiet. Enjoyed hotel bar, hot tub and the many fireplaces. The grounds are beautiful.

Well decorated, cozy room but did not sleep well. Pillows were soft but even two stacked on top of each other wasn't enough and there were only three total for the king bed. Also, the fireplace quickly and handily heats the entire space but there is not a ceiling fan above the bed so no moving air during the night. Positives: modern southwestern design, definitely check out the gift shop (I wanted to buy one of everything) and bar, La Reina, too! 8ish minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to Ski Santa Fe.

Loved our stay at El Rey Court (in the Kiva king). La Reina is a wonderful bar with live music and weekly events. Staff was very helpful. Food truck wasn’t available but lots of local pickup options close by.

A pleasant surprise in every way. Room was large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The lobby area and bar were both smartly designed, and the food truck was tasty and convenient. The bartenders weren’t very nice, although it may have been part of the “hipster aloof” branding.
