Great customer service

So we were disappointed in the price of hotel with the lack of cleanliness and up keeping. When we arrived our bed sheets did have a stain, though I will say after calling they were changed fairly quickly. The drain in the shower did not really work so water would just gather it was disgusting we could not shower comfortably. We went down stairs to enjoy the hot tub and there was so much chlorine in the hot tub my bathing suit changed colors and we smelled like chlorine for two days after even after multiple showers. There was no towels at the bottom and when we asked for some it was said someone would come, no one ever came and we asked again and they said someone would come in a bit to refill them over 40 past and no one came so we went up stairs drenched in water.

The hotel is fine. Clean with good size room. The staff at reception was pretty rude/disinterested in customer service. We had to wait an hour after check in for a room. Not the hotels fault but there were TONS aid kids and our room over the pi area was pretty loud. Also the AC in the room was super loud as it kicked in and out through the night. The area surrounding the hotel is a little sketchy-there's a 7/11 across the street that drew a lot of homeless (par for the area). Worth noting that there is NO self park option so you will have to valet at $19 ( tipping)/day. Although the one bright spot was the super friendly valet guys. Overall a very average stay. Just worth knowing what you're getting.

The Hyatt Place was a great stay especially for the price. The staff (including the Valet team at Precision Parking) were chatty and helpful and gave great tips on restaurants, trips and things around and about the hotel. The buffet breakfast was small but had everything you needed - including fresh fruit. The room was clean and bright. Only issue is that we had to make up the sofa bed but there were no supplies and we had not been warned that this would be something we would need to do ourselves. No real problem - just would have been nice to know ahead of time. Location of the hotel is great and within walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, restaurants / coffee shops and downtown shopping.
