I was satisfied with the service provided during my stay. The front desk staff provided recommendations to enjoy the city although limited on a Sunday. However, I forgot my pair of sunglasses behind. When trying to retrieve them and coordinate to get them returned while still in South Africa vs. waiting until I return back to the US, it has become a huge hassle. In fact, there was not much assistance offered by the staff. Gratefully the hotel I was staying at in White River was gracious enough to assist in coordinating to get them shipped to me to my hotel in Cape Town. I was highly disappointed by the lack of hospitality by the front desk. It was literally as if I'm on my own. Rather than trying to find solutions, it was yes we have them but that was it.
