曲折點旅館度假村(Ragged Point Inn and Resort)

I once stayed here in 2014 an upstairs room. I found the grounds enjoyable and the stay was a work stay, where I spent a great deal of time alone, working. I really liked it. However this time I was with my girlfriend and I found the stay not as I once experienced it. We were 1 hour early and unable to check-in There isn't any air conditioning, and our ground floor room was heated during the day by the sun and a fan was inadequate, even at night because the only way to introduce outside cool air was to open the sliding door all night. The smell of cat feces was prevalent from the porch facing the view. We were told not to let any cats in our room as part of the checkin. That should have been a tip as to our expectations. The staff was polite but offered little empathy when pushed back on regarding check-in times, cat crap smell. The restaurant is a shadow of what I remember, and for a seaside resort, has but one fish on the menu - We went to Cambria for dinner. Overall I won't stay there again, although it's a beautiful place to stay, the service I take for granted at other hotels doesn't seem to exist at the staff level at this place. I am sad to report.

Fabulous location with an incredibly scenic overlook of the Pacific Ocean like none other. Very helpful staff. This is far removed from any nearby restaurants, so for a wider selection of food you’ll have to drive to Cambria. But the drop dead vistas make up for other shortcomings. The hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. Rooms are comfortable and quiet but don’t expect luxury. The garden is gorgeous. Will visit again.

This is a magical place! The bed was comfortable, the fireplace was a nice feature. Be aware that there is no internet or cell reception so it was just super remote and relaxing. We’ll be back.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful setting with fabulous views of the coast and surrounding rocks. The hotel is tired though and could do with some TLC, although it has a very basic charm. The food in the restaurant was superb and the staff throughout were very good.

Beautiful place. Internet was horrible. Restaurant is excellent. With no other grocery options, l wish their market had a bigger selection

The location is gorgeous! Very easy to get to, ample parking and they have their own gas station, market and snack bar along with a restaurant. The hotel staff was friendly, nice and check in/out was simple and fast as well. No Wi-Fi or cell service this please is a dead zone but it was nice to get a break from technology for a day. The rooms are nice and big, we had two queen/doubles and it was prefect for 2 kids and 2 adults. Water in shower stayed hot for a while and the fireplace heater is so nice to have as it was 40 degrees at night. We had our own “backyard” with the view of the water and the cliffs.

Fabulous property! Staff was welcoming and helpful. The property is older, but it’s still a wonderfully peaceful place.

Property and staff were excellent. The food is worth the trip. Has to be one of the most beautiful places along PCH. Will visit again.
