A lot of early morning city noise. Be ready for it Be warned, that is a very noisy place. It's a clean, basic room, and the stay was comfortable. The room was clean, as I said,amenities were provided. All of that was fine. But the noise of the city really flows into the room, so be prepared for that in the very early mornings. The reception guards, we're very helpful and very polite. The entrance doors are locked twenty four hours a day, you will always have to be let in. After eleven pm the reception guard might not be in the front office. There is a buzzer to the right side of the doors. Look for the red arrow behind the bars. I don't think that I would choose this place again. Pay no attention to people who are negative about the area or the surroundings of the building. That is the entirety of San José, that is how the central part of the city is no matter where you're staying.

This property was very close to coffee shops, restaurants, markets, and museums. Overall the property was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. This is more like an apartment building than a hotel. Our room had five beds for our stay. We enjoyed the studio and the area. The manager was extremely helpful.
