Een uiterst vriendelijk koppel verwelkomt je hartelijk. We hadden een woonruimte met kookhoek, badkamer en slaapkamer. Een superlekker ontbijt met een prachtig uitzicht op de vallei rond San Gimingnano. Elke dag verse lakens, handdoeken en een glimlacH van de hosts. Aanrader voor wie Florence, Siena, San Gimingnano en Volterra wil bezoeken. Verblijf ligt op 5 minuten stappen van het centrum. Parking bij het verblijf is superhandig. Een echte aanrader!

Beautiful find This was a fantastic find. Our hosts Allessandro and Anna made us so welcome and provided the best breakfast we have ever had, ( along with Anna’s freshly baked cake) that along with the beautiful views and closeness to the centre made it just perfect.

The owners are amazing. The room was clean, the breakfast was always fresh and homemade. We used the covered outdoor seating area every afternoon to enjoy a bottle of wine and take in the SPECTACULAR view. Anna even shared her delicious Torte recipe with us and we cannot wait to try and replicate when we get home.

Wir haben drei Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht und wären gern noch länger geblieben. Die Lage ist perfekt am Ortsrand von San Gimignano, mit einem herausragenden Panorama. Wir hatten das Glück, Zimmer Nr. 1 zu haben und konnten die gut ausgestattete angrenzende Küche nutzen. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. An zwei Abenden kochten wir uns selbst etwas und genossen beim Essen die Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, u.a. mit Bruschetta, Salami und zwei Käsesorten, dazu selbstgebackenem Kuchen oder auch Hörnchen und leckerem Kaffee. Gastgeberin Anna und ihr Mann sind sehr herzlich und die Verständigung klappt auch auf Englisch. Als passionierte Vogelbeobachterin hatte ich besondere Freude daran, mehrfach im Garten einen Wiedehopf zu sehen. Abends kann man schön innerhalb von zehn Minuten in den Ortskern spazieren, nachdem die Tagestouristen fort sind, und z.B. auf dem zentralen Platz unter der Torre Grossa ein Eis der Gelateria Dondoli schlecken (Tipp: die Sorten Mango-Thai und Michelle probieren). Ein Pluspunkt ist angesichts der Parksituation in San Gimignano auch der geräumige private Parkplatz der Unterkunft. Ausflugsziele wie z.B. Siena, Volterra und der schöne Sentier'Elsa am türkisen Fluss von Colle die Val'd Elsa sind innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für die sehr touristisch geprägte Gegend ausgezeichnet.

This is a fabulous bed and breakfast, just outside the walls of San Gimignano and within easy walking distance of the cathedrals and basilicas inside the medieval city. We had an incredible suite with large bedroom, bathroom and wonderful kitchen. Breakfast was served in a covered room overlooking the fields and rolling hills of Tuscany. Breakfast itself was fresh and homemade. Coffee was delicious. We stayed here two night and cannot imagine a better place. Thank you for the hospitality!

A nice place. The breakfast was fantastic with a great view. Great location - short walk into San Gimignano. Parking on site. The hosts don't really speak english, but my wife speaks passable Italian, so this wasn't really an issue for us. The decor was a little old fashioned.
