Conveniently located in Japantown. Clean hotel with comfortably sized rooms.

Great location, easy walking distance to most places. Friendly staff. Charming and comfortable room.

The hotel needs a facelift. Wallpaper peeling in our room, huge stain in the carpet. Bathroom was nice and very clean. Zero soap for the tub/shower. We had to take the liquid hand soap off the wall to have soap. The top of the armoire was full of dust as was the fireplace area. The bed was very comfortable. The lady checking us in was very kind and pleasant. Sad that this beautiful hotel isn’t maintained.

The hotel would benefit from some TLC (such as new carpeting and paint here and there); however, the truly outstanding helpful and hospitable desk clerks and staff made up for any defects. The breakfast selection was a nice surprise. The surrounding area felt very safe. We'd definitely stay here again.

I would never stay at this hotel again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs. It's not worth risking your health and well-being. "I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I got to my room, I was hit by a strong, unpleasant smell that made me feel sick. The room was also in a terrible state, with dust everywhere and the bed linen was dirty and had stains on it, which was just disgusting. Worst of all, after spending the night in the room I woke up with rashes on my head which I need to visit a doctor about. For your own safety, I would advise against staying at this hotel.

This was a great little place with some awesome charm. It was in the middle of downtown but still felt like coming home after a few nights. Love the complimentary breakfast!

The Hotel Majestic is one for the ages - historic and beautiful with the greatest staff ever. Special praise goes to Alisha who was both patient and ever so helpful in responding to our requests.

Lovely spot within walking distance to Pier 39.Takes one back in time with its old style decor which suited us well, reminiscent of majestic days of old. Parking was nearby, so no issue. Breakfast room was awesome. Would recommend.
