羅斯格力斯切飯店(Hotel Roseg-Gletscher)

Supernette und um mein Wohl besorgte Receptionistin, sehr netter und aufmerksamer Kellner. Ganz leckeres und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wunderbare Lage mit vielen Tiersichtungen am Abend (Rehe und Hirsche). Ein zauberhaftes und verwunschenes Winterparadies in der Einsamkeit. Die Nachtruhe ist aussergewöhnlich, ich erlebte noch nie eine derart stille Nacht. Obwohl ich das Massenlager im 6-er Zimmer gebucht habe, erlebte ich eine unglaublich schöne und bequeme Zeit.

Albergo bello in una zona fantastica. Personale molto gentile, camere accoglienti. Al ristorante c è molta scelta,i piatti sono ben presentati. I dolci sono tanti e buoni. Albergo adatto per due o tre giorni di relax e passeggiate. Adatto anche a chi come noi ha un cane. .

Locale molto bello, si trova in un luogo con un'atmosfera rilassante e tranquilla. Raggiungibile a piedi o con gli sci di fondo immersi nella natura, per i più avventurosi ma anche in carrozza, per i più pigri, in entrambi i casi un percorso piacevole. Menu ben fornito, anche se io e mio padre avevamo la schnitzel in testa ancor prima di entrare. Devo dire che il servizio è stato veloce nonostante ci fossero molti tavoli. I camerieri sempre gentili nonostante la mole di lavoro, cosa che ho davvero apprezzato, nel nostro caso c'era Francesco a servire il nostro tavolo, svelto, pratico e sorridente. Dopo il caffè ci ha anche offerto un amaro fatto da loro, non sono un grande fan degli amari ma quello lo bevuto volentieri, davvero buono. Una cosa che mi ha davvero colpito e il buffet dei dolci, una sorta di self service, un tavolo immenso pieno di dolci, situato all'esterno in quello che il service chiama "giardino coperto". Difatti il locale dispone di tavoli all'interno, all'esterno sotto una tettoia con un bellissimo panorama (giardino coperto) oppure all'esterno senza tettoia (giardino) praticamente circondati o meglio immersi nel panorama. In sostanza: un bel locale con personale a modo e in una bella location. P.s. Ciao Francesco 👋

Wonderful and easy hike from Pontresina. When you get to Roseg, be ready for the most wonderful array of desserts to reward yourself! Or you could enjoy an extensive lunch or dinner menu, including local specialties.

We know this place since the early eighties, when Fred Zinneman had just finished filming “Five Days One Summer”, extraordinary mountain movie. At that time, the hotel was managed by Mrs. Testa, a classy lady who loved to converse with her guests. A long time has gone since then. We have spent two nights at the hotel. A free minibus (for guests) connects the hotel with Pontresina RhB station. In order to save money and have a bit of privacy, we have booked an entire 4-bed “lager”, even if we are three. The lager no. 7 at the first floor is very basic: bunk beds, shared wash basins toilets and showers downstairs, attic ceiling (be careful with your head, if you’re tall….), limited space for clothing storage. At night there is total silence. Breakfast is the true strong point of the accommodation: a large choice of sweet and salty food is available, with some of the delicious fresh cakes that are daily offered at the restaurant for lunch. Sometimes a self-service restaurant is open for lunch, but this was not the case when we were there. The only alternative is the à la carte restaurant. The staff, according to the Swiss style, is very kind and attentive, although respectful of individual privacy. The Roseg Gletscher is the ideal starting point for many hikes in the surroundings, the two alpine huts above all: Chamanna Tschierva and Chamanna Coaz. We choosed – and highly recommend – the first one, with its superb sight on Piz Bernina, Piz Roseg and Tschierva Gletscher.

The hotel’s dessert buffet is the stuff of legends and for a reason. Even if not staying at the hotel, a quick snack here is an unmissable treat with local specialties such as the bündner nusstorte, and the fresh fruit garnished wonderful mousse de chocolat.

Stunning location. Comfortable and spotless rooms. Excellent restaurant that accommodated all of our needs. Kind and caring staff. Highly recommend. Do not miss the opportunity to discover the Roseg Hotel and its surroundings.

Die Abgeschiedenheit wird zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Ich hatte ein gemütliches kleines Einzelzimmer im Haupthaus. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend, man ist einfach gerne hier. Die Speisekarte „verzaubert“ mit einheimischen“ Speisen, einfach köstlich und das Dessertbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

In een kleine twee uur wandel je door een sprookjesachtige omgeving naar dit restaurant waar je dan heerlijk kunt ontspannen en kunt genieten van een heerlijke lunch. Vooraf even reserveren voor mooi plekje. Dit keer bestelden we een uiensoep en een pasta met paddestoelen. Erbij een heerlijke Aperol Spritz en een glas Chardonnay. Toe cheesecake en een punt chocoladetaart met slagroom. Uiterst correcte en vriendelijke bediening. Een onwaarschijnlijk mooi uitzicht op de Roseg gletsjer. Terug één uur lang genieten van het koetsritje terug via Stalla Engadiana (CHF 170 enkele reis, duur maar wel heel mooie koets). Het hotel had dit voor ons geregeld.
