河邊的位置非常美麗。儘管夜間燈光明亮且玻璃很多，但無法使房間變暗。即使在夜間和清晨，船坡附近也會產生噪音污染。淋浴間僅提供溫熱的毛毛雨。早餐曾經只有甜煎餅，然後是米飯和肉，每份都有水果。

湄公河畔位置極佳，但價格過高。平房有些陳舊，大部分都是玻璃窗，沒有遮光窗簾。周圍光線充足，甚至在夜間和清晨，附近的船塢都會發出噪音。淋浴噴頭僅提供溫水。早餐一次只是甜煎餅，然後是米飯和肉，每份都有水果。咖啡很濃，而且很短暫。

Tres grand bungalow sur pilotis et terrasse vue sue me Mékong. Lit confortable. Serviettes moelleuses une première. Diner typique et petit déjeuner avec pancakes très bon et en quantité. Jus de passion excellent. Personnel aimable. Sortie bateau et canoë dans la forêt pétrifiée.

L'endroit est magnifique, limite exceptionnel. Les villas sont très belles, avec de belles terrasses avec vue sur le Mekong. Air conditionné, wi-fi (qui fonctionne), frigo acceptable. Un petit effort sur la salle de bain serait bienvenu. Le service... ben y en a pas. On vous accueille comme on peut, on ne vous explique rien, ni les activités, ni le restaurant, ni le bar. Les chambres ne sont pas faites durant le séjour. Une fois en contact avec le proprio, le programme est dingue. Descente du Mekong en gilet de sauvetage, petit-déjeuner sur la rivière, Kayak, Sunset cruise, visite des chutes d'eau à la frontière laotienne, c'est complètement fou ! Bref, c'est très spécial, mais ont a adoré !

Uniek verblijf voor een aantal dagen. De eigenaar maakt veel tijd voor je vrij. Fantastische kanotocht met picknick. Bijzondere kerstavond, candlelight op het strand. Bijzonder gastvrij, goede service. Mooie houten huisjes op palen, uitzicht op de Mekong

I cannot recommend the mekong birdresort to anyone. Except for the location and the already renovated bungalows. Nervertheless the resort and its staff brings a lot of problems. We booked the resort through Air BnB. When we arrived we were informed that our already paid reservation was not taken. The reason was that the host no longer had access to his Air Bnb account, which seems very strange. He wanted us to pay in cash but never had change himself which was also suspicious. So demanded to cancel the booking but since this happened on the day of check-in, we would have only gotten a fraction of our money back. Fortunately, the Air Bnb staff was so helpful and was able to refund our money after a short wile. To make up for the very complicated check-in, the manager offered us a free boat tour on the Mekong, which ended up costing over $55, which seems also overpriced. The manager also told us that three nights paid in cash cost 100$, which suddenly became 120$ on the last day. On the internet, it is advertided that staff can speak English but unfortunately this was not the case. So any verbal communication can only take place with the manager, who is rarely to be found in the resort. The rest of the service provided by the staff seems unkind and guests do not feel welcome. For example you have to expect long waits before ordering food, as the staff are busy with their cell phones and the well-being of the guests does not seem to interest them. The morning meal is served without asking what you would like and has become worse and less from day to day. The food was average and overall too expensive for what you get. Transportation in the very secluded resort is non-existent and as mentioned in the beginning, prices for excursions of all kinds are nowhere to be found and arbitrarily made by the manager himself. All in all this was one of the worst experiences we have had in Cambodia and we would not wish this to anyone!
