Great breakfast offerings. Room is smaller than I expected for the price.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was good and eggs and omelette made to order. Unfortunately the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The wi-fi was very poor. On arrival we planned to eat at the in house restaurant as we arrived quite late. The menu was limited, and as it was cold we asked to eat indoors rather than on the terrace. The indoor room was grim so we left and went elsewhere. The location is very convenient for local attractions, and the Boulevard restaurant, which is excellent, is a five minute walk.

We visited this establishment as a restaurant only, we were staying next door in a guest house. We booked a table in advance by telephone. On arrival we were taken up to a rooftop terrace to find it was barely a restaurant at all, there were four tables not laid out for dining, looked more like a residents area for sitting out. The menu was limited and they didn’t have what we ordered, so we both had filet mignon which was passable but I think because the kitchen must be a long way from the terrace the food was already going cold by the time it got to us and completely cold by the time we had finished, had to leave the chips as they had become unpleasant. Ordered local Uzbek wine as everything else on the wine list was ludicrously expensive, sadly the wine was only fit for cooking and we sent it back, it was replaced by the next level of Uzbek wine, referred to as export, it wasn’t much better. Can’t recommend this place

Terrific location - I walked to all significant site in Samarkand. Room was very clean. The two men who worked in the reception area were professional, fRiendly and cared about my experience. I spent 3 nights here. They communicated with me fast and efficiently from the time i made my booking. They arranged airport transfers that were reliable, on time and reasonably priced. My Room was quiet. The AC worked perfectly (it was very hot outside). Breakfast was excellent. Eggs. Fresh breads. Fruits. Really a hearty meal in the courtyard garden area. Highly recommend.

Ticks all the boxes and goes above and beyond. The property is located at a walking distance from the touristy areas, and yet is quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved everything about it. The breakfast spread is hearty and fresh. The rooms are spacious. An often overlooked bit of the hotel is the terrace, please check that out. Will definitely recommend the property. They also packed breakfast boxes for us on the day of our early check-out.

I don’t leave reviews often but they went above and beyond especially the young man at the front desk- argamond. -gave us early check in after an exhausting train trip -late checkout -printed for us pdfs -amazing breakfast buffett -comfy rooms thanks again!

L'Argamak Samarkhand is a delightful gem! The rooms are beautifully appointed, offering a blend of traditional Uzbek aesthetics with modern comforts. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent, providing easy access to many of Samarkand's historical sites. The courtyard is a tranquil oasis, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast provided is fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is the lack of an in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner. While there are plenty of dining options nearby, it would have been incredibly convenient to have a restaurant on-site, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Despite this, I would wholeheartedly recommend L'Argamak Samarkhand for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who help you 24/7. Ordermade breakfast at elegant dining room with fresh fruits. Clean bathroom. I was pampered and in heaven. Walking distance to all the sightseeing sights especially beautiful Gur Amir. Trendy bakery cafe , Boulevard Bakery is close by also. They don’t seem to have laundry driers which didn’t make towels fluffy was only minus point. Samarkand is beautiful. I was so happy to be there. And I would recommend this hotel. Next time I come back, I will stay again. Thank you very much L’Argamac for lifetime memory

L'argamak is a very good hotel is a great location, not far from the Registan. The room was a good size, friendly staff and a great breakfast. All the reception staff spoke excellent English and they went out of their way to help. Nice courtyard where breakfast is taken. Rooms not quite as charming as others I've stayed in, so I can't give it the full 5 stars. But a very nice hotel which I would recommend.

Several reviews are similar calling about how fabulous the property, gardens and roof terrace, breakfast are, which sets extremely high expectations which I didn’t feel it fully lived up to. Whilst the location is favourable and it is one of the more decent options in town, I found it very expensive for what you get. In addition the payment up front and only in cash is extremely inconvenient - I had better experiences in far cheaper properties in the country.

Great hotel in a great location! The hotel is within easy walking distance of Registan Square in a quiet area. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast on the terrace looking over the garden. The staff are exceptionally helpful and go out of the way to make sure guests are looked after.
