Terrible would be a good adjective to define the service. The front office staff have kept true to the city spirit of being rude and uncouth. Have stayed across Luxury hotels to Budgets across continents. But this hotel front office staff had trumped hospitality sector. Guys like Diptenjoy Roy requires training( the guy says in a rude and arrogant way " customers are wrong, most times") Funnily, there's IIHM hospitality Institute in adjoining building. Seriously management has good scope of improvement in training. However few staff in there restaurant, in-room dining were good. Overall rooms are okay. The beds was good and comfortable. Location is very good in Saltlake. Housekeeping has scope of improvement. The AC ducts needs good scrubbing, will just improve the cooling effectiveness. Food was good. Hence with the few good exceptions I have given 1 star.
