薩洛浪漫飯店

We stayed at the Las Vegas hotel from 15th - 22nd October 2024. All furnishings were comfortable and tasteful. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and had 4 pools which gave the option of sun or shade. Reception staff all very polite and helpful. The only disappointment was no outdoor seating for meals and we had to eat indoors. Great location close to beach and shops. There is a long beach but smaller coves as well. We stayed on the 5th floor which seemed to have been refurbished and was very modern. I don’t know what the rooms were like on the other floors but the doors to them looked old and dated. Food was good with plenty of variety for the mains but the same desserts came out every evening which disappointed my wife. The choice of fruit was good but not prepared for you. None of the waitresses smiled all week until the last day when young Angie served us. She was like a breath of fresh air, so polite and cheerful. The bus service ran close to the hotel and the service was frequent. We purchased a bus card which made each trip very cheap. Pleasantly surprised how big but compact Salou was. Would stop here again.

Great option to stay if you want to visit Port Aventura amusement park. Staying for the night at the hotel will grant you access to the park on both days, the check-in and the check-out. Rooms are clean and comfortable, for a good rest after spending the day at the park. The swimming pool is also amazing, big and beautiful, it is an adventure in itself. Only issue is the service: you can feel that the staff do their best, however during peak season, they are so busy that for sure you will have to line up in order to get anything done. They are moving ahead and making moves for automatic self-service processes: like self- check out, but still is not enough. You gotta then have some patience and wait until your turn comes.

Fabalous Hotel all staff are lovely food is excellent bar food by the pool is excellent and activity staff are wonderful we would have been lost without them while it was raining alot. Highly recommend and great for the spa treatments will be back spotless.

September 14th 2024. The good. I have been to this hotel before, in late September of 2015. Not much changed in terms of room or amenities as far as I can remember. It has always been a very good hotel in Salou. Clean, spacious rooms, good beds and awesome showers, great pool area for those windy days, close to the beach and nice restaurant La Gaviota right across the street. Very good security and next to grocery chain store Michelangelo. The bad. In my hotel experience I have never met a front person that is more unfriendly, unwelcoming and snobbish than this gentleman named Alpha. This guy acted like he was a descendant of some African Royal family that was forced to work front desk the minute we walked in and had some questions. I really got these reversed Coming to America vibes. Not a single smile, snobbish answers to normal questions. Just silly, pretentious attitude and mannerisms. Front concierges switch shifts with sister hotel Blaumar which is considered to be an upgrade so I felt like he wasn't happy being at Magnolia shift. Thank to all African Gods he was the only front person that had something up his behind. Everyone else was very helpful and friendly. In particular I want to mention Valeria. She helped me late night to get hot tea to the room when my wife caught a light cold. Rest of the gentlemen were also great. Except this Alpha who is more like a Kappa.
