We had a pleasure to stay in Fjalar in superior room, which was perfect for our needs. (2adults+1child) Room was super cozy and modern and the we slept so well, beds 10+👌🏼! We also used the sauna&pool. It was so relaxing and what a great sauna bath! I prefer this instead if big Hotels as you feel like home. Well the staff is so welcoming that you are like part of the family. And what a history hidden to this place!! I highly recommend this place when booking a place to stay while in Salo.❤️

The service was really friendly, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable with its own peaceful and green terrace. The interior, especially downstairs, has a wonderfully retro, awesome Twin Peaks atmosphere! I hope it stays that way. The sauna facilities also have a fireplace room and a swimming pool, where I swam many times during my sauna shift. I will definitely come here again!

It was a very home like experience in relaxing atmosphere. We used the sauna and pool. Good standard breakfast and very helpful staff who brought me my forgotten item in train station. We liked the 60ties design too. Best recommendations!!

I had a very warm welcome on arrival. Room was spacious and newly renovated. Room had a balcony with a view over the backyard garden. Balcony had a table and two chairs. Room also had a 2 person sofa which is really nice to have in a hotel room, a place to sit and not only to sleep in. Also couple of small chairs and a desk. There was no iron in the room which I would have wanted to do but I did not ask if it would have been possible to borrow one. There was a small pool and sauna but I did not use them. Cozy sitting area next to the pool. Breakfast had everything I normally eat at a hotel. Eggs were really good. There was no option to eat lunch or dinner at the hotel but if you come by car, moving around is easy. Free parking just in front of the hotel. Area was very quiet so I had a good nights sleep.

Beautiful place that feels like home with warm welcoming, beautiful sauna and pool. Large variety of delicious breakfast choices, everyone finds something to eat. I'm definitely coming back whenever I visit Salo again!

I booked this hotel blind from the net for my mother, but I took the trouble to have a look before she arrived and I liked what I saw. Located amidst trees on a hill overlooking the centre of the town, I really liked the location - quiet and peaceful with a room with a terrace overlooking a garden with apple trees. A smal inside pool and common sauna were available. The staff were friendly and willing to accommodate in guests in small foibles like milk in the cold drinks cabinet where guests could make coffe for themselves out of hours. My mother, coming from an English village, thoroughly enjoyed herself here, noting particularly that the peace and quiet was so restful and the service was excellent. She had a wonderful time and was sorry to have return home.
