The site description that this property is a boutique and more like a B&B is definitely NOT accurate. A second or third refrigerator is greatly needed, having up to 23 individuals in one house to include the couple managing the property and volunteers to store refrigerated items in one old style small refrigerator is unacceptable. (The management should have their own personal refrigerator in their private space). Audrey made it clear to label all food items if I did not expect them to be eaten or shared?? There was NO space for any refrigerated food items. It was suggested that I use ice packs and a cooler?! I opened the freezer and almost had my foot broken by the hazards that fell out!? PLEASE CLEAN OUT THE FRIG AND FREEZER, THE COUNTLESS NUMBER OF CONDIMENTS ARE PROBABLY EXPIRED AND WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. NO oven (a toaster oven does not provide the same space or cooking results). The QUIET time is not enforced or taken seriously - People coming and going from the Bunkroom up to midnight on Friday, July 25th was so wrong. The bathroom in the Bunkroom was a revolving door ALL night long. People did not even close the door?? A beam of light floods the room along with other wrong sounds and noises. I looked at the time to discover that it was 0330 and I still had not had any rest. I had to make time on Saturday for a long nap in my car to recover from the sleepless night. When entering the bathroom off of the kitchen, trash was overflowing, and a hand vac (dust buster type tool) was stored on the limited bathroom counter and sink area that looked as if it is used to vacuum mud ridden stairs. SO disgusting and SO wrong to think that one's clean clothes and hygiene products are safe from disease or ??? Some aerosol air-freshener in the bathroom would be greatly appreciated for one's senses. There is NO Customer Service in the hostel after check-in is over. I asked Audrey what time someone would be back at the desk. A blank look was given while she answered that they usually surface around 10 or 11 am? and then again at 4pm for check-in. I tried calling several times with NO answer with the response that there is not a dedicated time indicated to call for phone calls to be answered. I did have the pleasure Saturday night around 9pm to speak to two volunteers cooking in the kitchen. One by the name of John that seemed genuine with some of these thoughts and concerns. The website needs to be updated with information and photos that are accurate and relevant.

Perfect overnight stay before camping for the weekend. Having the kitchen and the ability to make breakfast was great

It was as comfortable as visiting a relative's home. The hygiene was very clean and tidy, spotless. The mattress, bedding and towels were very comfortable and soft. All the necessities were provided. Fresh blueberry muffins and coffee were provided for the morning.

Nice, comfortable, warm hospitality. Quiet neighborhood.
