聖安傑洛套房(Casa Santangelo Suites)

We stayed in this place for one night during our honeymoon in Italy. The location is nice even though a bit hard to find, it’s hidden behind the big gate. Alexis was very helpful with the luggage and welcomed us with the introduction, in the room there was a book with suggestions for dining places and sightseeing. We loved the style , it looks quite impressive with the high ceilings and big windows, feels like you’re staying in the museum. The breakfast was nice for B&B, too. The music playing gives you special vibes. That was really a unique experience! The only disadvantage for us was the noise from the street, it was super loud until 3 a.m., couldn’t fall asleep for a while. We also suggest to provide two types of pillows for the guests, ours were very hard to sleep on. Apart from that, everything was good. 👍🏽

Bij binnenkomst in deze fantastische B&B waant men zich in een andere wereld met adembenemend mooie aankleding . 3 kamers voor ons gezin van 6 personen , elke kamer net weer even anders maar overal dezelfde fijne sfeer met in elke kamer een kerstboom voelde gelijk zeer welkom. Prettig sfeervolle ontbijtkamer , Goed ontbijt, men kan zelf een eitje koken en de gasten kunnen 24/7 gebruik maken van koffie/thee faciliteiten. Alexis is een relaxte gastheer die meedenkt en direct vertrouwen geeft . Casa Sant Angelo is zeer centraal gelegen in het historisch centrum van Salerno. Kortom een aanrader , wij hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen, dank Alexis!

El hotel es precioso y se nota que cuidan los detalles para que la estancia sea especial. Es como qued**** en el cuarto de un pequeño palacio literalmente. Lo único malo es que está ubicado en una calle muy ruidosa (o no sé si fue por las fechas estuvimos, Navidad) y fue muy difícil dormir.

Attratti dalle ottime recensioni abbiamo scelto questo bb, ma le nostre aspettative sono state deluse. La struttura è sicuramente affascinante, ma avrebbe bisogno di un restauro più accurato e completo, soprattutto per quello che riguarda l'illuminazione delle stanze (davvero insufficiente) e l'impianto elettrico (fili "volanti" e poche prese funzionanti). Il doppio bagno di cui si parla nel sito, consiste in due locali separati. dei quali uno provvisto di water, lavandino e doccia. l'altro solo di lavandino e doccia. La pulizia è stata molto superficiale. La colazione non viene servita nella struttura, ma in un bar nei dintorni. Un nuovo gestore, che abbiamo visto di sfuggita, è subentrato da pochi mesi. Forse per questo la conduzione del bb ci è sembrata improvvisata e poco professionale. Auguriamo al nuovo gestore di riuscire a sviluppare appieno le potenzialità di questa struttura.

Casa Santangelo is a beautiful bed and breakfast, warmly run and owned by Debbie.our room was huge, very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The breakfast was delicious. It’s location was great, close to everything we wanted to see. The Casa has been remodeled but with original style decor left in place. I felt like I was staying in the Sistine Chapel. Just beautiful. Also, there are many spots for a drink or great food right within a block or two. You do have to walk up stairs to get to Casa Santangelo, just in case you have mobility problems. Debbie let’s you make a coffee or tea whenever you choose. And she helps with anything and everything. We only had time to stay 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. Something about Salerno. We loved the city. It is ancient but clean. It is on the direct train line from Rome so getting here was easy. Also, many ferries connect from Salerno to the Amalfi Coast. And there are many centuries old buildings and places to visit.

Posto incantevole ! Ottima accoglienza da parte del gestore (Debbie) una ragazza di origini olandesi, innamorata della città di Salerno . Le stanze conservano ancora le decorazioni originali di quella Che era la dimora di un marchese. Posizione centrale , a 10 minuti dalla stazione dei treni e a 5 dalla metropolitana che collega tutti i paesini della costiera amalfitana. Lo consiglio !

Tolle, mit Malereine verzierten Zimmer in einem alten, herrschaftlichen Stadthaus. Frühstück wird coronabedingt aufs Zimmer geliefert. Sehr gute Lage, um Altstadt zu erkunden. Superfreundlicher Empfang, deutsch und englisch. Man sollte vor Ankunf anrufen

Accoglienza della proprietaria superlativa , dimora storica eccellente in pieno centro storico di salerno . Ho prenotato per amici cari con attenzione questa dimora storica che consente di vivere un momento di relax tornando indietro nel tempo. Complimenti e grazie

Alexis was very attentive and resolved any small problems that might have soured a very wonderful stay in Salerno during this city’s magical Christmas lights display…Plus the restored beauty of the rooms put a regal atmosphere to the whole experience and that final touch of a decorated Christmas tree in each room, made the season whole….
