Great hotel central loads around it to do, staff for this hotel where also very lovely and helpful

There were Mice running across the floor. The room was cold. The shower had no door, and water would get everywhere. I was told two hours after I was supposed to check in that my room wasn’t available and that they had to downgrade my room. I find this quite suspicious, because my room was supposed to be ready two hours before they called. They offered to reimburse the difference, but it has been a week, and nothing. Perhaps it will come through, but no one answered my phone this morning when I inquired on it. They offered me free breakfast for the mice, which didn’t include my beer unbeknownst to me, and a travel voucher. I told them I wouldn’t be back for some time and they told me that they would figure something else out. I still don’t know what that something else is. There are far better places to stay in Salem. Stay away!

Excellent experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Salem and close to everything—shops, restaurants, and main attractions. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the staff was very friendly from check-in. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 👍

Our first room had a water leak and staff (who were fabulous, btw) immediately moved us to another room (king vs queen and the new room had a nice soaker tub). Both rooms appeared clean. That said, when I pulled to covers back in the king room, there were multiple hairs and flecks of something on the sheets. Upon further examination, there was a clear appearing stain on the sheet as well. I did not alert management and just rolled with it. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well. It was a little strange to me that the hotel offered zero breakfast despite having a large room in the back with seats and an attached restaurant that is only open for dinner. There was also NO onsite parking or availability for door drop off, so we had to carry our luggage .25-.3 mile to the hotel, which was fun.

We had an amazing time at the hotel Salem. The hotel itself is so cool, they have a restaurant at the entrance of the hotel and on the roof, which unfortunately, we were not able to go to as it was winter when we visited

The room and location was perfect! No complaints. I would definitely stay again. The best part was the bathroom setup. The toilet and shower was in the same room. It was very cool

Room was very very generic for a suite, the lack of amenities was less than desirable for a valentine’s weekend. Location is perfect but room was lacking .

Room was great, loved the decor and tall ceilings. Only complaints I would have is that there’s no fan (that works well at least) in the bathroom so it can turn into a steam room pretty quickly. Other thing would be that the TV didn’t have streaming service accessibility, which is pretty standard in modern hotels. These are pretty minor though, loved everything else! Great staff and room is well kept.
