海島度假屋(The Lodge at Sea Island)

I visited Sea Island several years ago and the one way I would always describe it was the service can't be matched, it was a 12 out of 10. Unfortunately that is just not the case any longer. No one on the staff went out of their way to make our stay particularly special and we had several situations where it just seemed like the staff is no longer held to a high standard. A few examples...the concierge never notified us when our room was ready and also when we asked them for a band aid, it was made out to be an incredibly inconvenient ask. At two separate dinners we asked for special deserts to celebrate birthdays and both were forgotten. A shuttle that was supposed to be at the Lodge in 10 minutes to take us to the spa had still not arrived in 30 minutes and the valets did not offer to help in any way other than to retrieve our car so we could drive ourselves. All in all it was just incredibly disappointing for a place I always held in the highest regard.

We spent spring break at Sea Island, the Lodge side of the resort. We enjoyed the golf performance center, pool, restaurants and horseback riding during our stay. The food, staff and service is wonderful. There is a wonderful mix of activities and restaurant options available that make for a perfect mix of variety and relaxation. We are ready to rebook for next year!

We felt like we were in Scotland at times (with exception of the palm trees). Everything was relaxing and beautiful. We will definately return to enjoy the Lodge and the activities that it offers. Thank you for a great stay,

The Lodge is amazing,! We had the Hudson Suite. Wonderful! Beware, however, they start blowing leaves at 7 AM. The staff was amazing, helpful and so friendly. We loved being addressed by name everywhere we went. 5PM bagpipes were a treat, even during a rainy afternoon. The fitness center is wonderful. I used the lap pool. The locker room is wonderful, almost as good as the amazing spa. I had 3 services at the Spa, the Sea Island facial (added planing for upcharge), 30 minutes Reflexology (new experience for me) , 1 hour Balinese massage (also new and amazing experience). I can’t wait to go back next year. We had dinner in the Oak Room. It was excellent, but beware of $27 glasses of wine! My husband was there for a golf tournament and I was a tag along. I can’t say enough good about the Lodge and Spa!

Wonderful and Beautiful location ever!!!!. Great and wonderful hospitality. Kind hearts.. Fun !!!!Butler Michael , Jed , Annie Mae,Trish, Sallie, Katyln, Ronald Young, Emily, Shane, Chef Hector, Jacob and Grant are all wonderful and Kind, sweet!!! Beautiful place, Please take this trip!!🤗❤☺

Food at the various venues was very expensive and hardly worth it. Daily add on charges are absurd. Room at the Lodge was very nice with a view of golf and river. All team members were very friendly and helpful.

This was a trip for my wife and I just to have a little bit of time away and the staff and the location of the lodge was fantastic. Dinner at Colton and Allison’s was so nice I think the wine service could’ve been a little bit better The food was absolutely fantastic though we also did a dinner at the Georgia room and it was absolutely superb I also did a private dinner in my room with my wife, which I prearranged with the chef at the lodge, and he was absolutely fabulous The service during this experience was top shelf

I just spent a wonderful, extended stay, Thanksgiving at the Lodge at Sea Island! Several friends joined me for special dinners, golf, the tree lightening at the Cloister and many other wonderful holiday activities. Sea Island, and the Lodge, in particular are my first choice for a fabulous getaway with beloved friends and family. Thank you Sea Island! Thank you Lodge for making it the best Thanksgiving!

Staff, grounds, food, golf, everything was spot on! After years of considering, I finally pulled the trigger and could not possibly be happier. I will be back once a year at a minimum. Thank you for such remarkable hospitality.
