聖西蒙斯燈塔飯店

Tired! The property and myself I did not expect a 5 star resort, but I expected to be able to sleep. The girl at the front desk was very nice & our check in went smoothly. She kept saying our room (100) was the best as you could see the lighthouse across the street. I was a little suspicious about the comment as the room is on the first floor, right near the front desk. I asked her, “are you sure this is a good room?” she replied, yes. If you peak through the trees you can see a bit of the lighthouse, but I wouldn’t call it a view. Room 100 is right by reception, so you can hear the conversations. We had to go out at 10:45pm & ask them to please keep it down as we were sleeping. Then 10 mins later a gentleman came knocking on our door to apologize. Keep in my mind we are trying to sleep & had to answer the door. Then another group was there at 11:45pm & again had to ask them to keep it down. On top of that you could hear the footsteps of the room above. So there was little sleep to be had. I mentioned to the front desk in the morning that the room was not a good room. There was a gentleman by the desk in a SSI shirt and he said “is it because of the noise?” I hadn’t mentioned the noise yet, so it confirmed my suspicions that they know this is a crappy room. The room and Inn are a bit tired as well. Paint chipping, pieces of floor trim missing, etc. But if you want paint, it is stored under the sink. I found that searching for the blow dryer that didn’t exist. Bathroom is also way too small.

Loved it's location to the village. Would have liked a softer pillow to sleep on. Staff was friendly and helpful. My second stay, and would stay there again. .

Great hotel walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was very nice for continental and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and nice
