Had a dope stay at AC Hotel in Downtown St. Pete! Big UP to my dawg Preston tony, Roshaun, and Bryan for taking care of da Caddi with that valet game. My girl was loving the rooftop bar, getting her on with those sick views. The area was clean but, for real, there’s a lot of homeless folks hanging around where all the food and bars are. Still, it was a g spot and we had a blast! Beats the Brickell ac forreal.

Absolute worst Marriott I have ever stayed at for service. I am Titanium elite and stayed here for a few nights for business. From the moment I checked in the service was terrible. Rude desk clerk. Could care less that I’m a loyal Marriott member. Whenever I stoped down and asked a question it was impossible to get service. When I checked out the lady checking me out was short, rude and took forever. A few days later I noticed a huge charge on my credit card. I am currently on phone for over a half hour on hold waiting to talk to someone. The desk clerk answered , I explained the issue, she said hold and still has not come back on the phone. I will call Marriott Elite line and dispute the charge if I have to. The rooms are old. Restaurant is non existent. Stay far away from this hotel.
Excellent staff and management! We came here for some solace after the hurricanes and they went above and beyond. We’re locals and this has always been one of our favorite places to come for the pool bar and restaurant. We send all of our out of town friends and fam here. Cannot say enough about the team and location. Love the Hollander.
We visited St. Pete right after Hurricane Helene. We called to be sure that the hotel was not affected and were happy to learn that downtown St. Pete was unscathed and open for business. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. The gentlemen at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is attractive in a modern, low key way with plenty of seating. The location is within walking distance of Starbucks, Publix, the marina and area parks, and a myriad of restaurants and clubs. It is also across the street from the concert venue, Jannus Live. There was a show while we were there, but the sound was not audible in our room, though you could hear it outside the hotel. The neighborhood seemed quite safe. Self parking is available in the garage for $22/night. You swipe your key card before you drive in. We reserved a king corner room and were pleased with the choice. There was a good sized sitting area with a sofa bed, full size desk, ample closet and drawer space, and a mini refrigerator and microwave. A decorative half screen divides the living and sleeping areas. The king bed is flanked by lamps and nightstands on both sides. There were only two USB ports which was not really enough. The bed’s mattress was unfortunately not very firm. On the other hand, the pillows were. The hotel does not have balcony rooms, but we had beautiful views of the water through the large windows. If you are someone who needs a 100% dark room to sleep, you may want to bring a sleep mask because light does slip in through the shades. The bathroom is well-appointed with toiletries. There’s a large shower, but no bath, which neither of us missed. The bathroom has a pocket door which slides open immediately if you don’t latch it correctly. Be sure the door is properly latched before doing anything private. Housekeeping was thorough and prompt. The women who cleaned our room were friendly and professional. One even left a thank you note for her tip! The pool area is on the 7th floor. It’s a long, narrow pool that was very clean. The lounges are adequate, but not plush. Breakfast is included but we had breakfast appointments every day, so we never took advantage of that. The buffet breakfast looked fairly standard. Our overall experience was very positive and the areas for improvement are minor. We are already planning to return.
RRGaitherHIOverall this is a pleasant building. But neither the room nor the “restaurant” were what I consider Holiday Inn standards. The room was tiny with a trundle bed that wasn’t in the least bit comfortable as a sofa. The mattress was way too soft. The “air conditioner” was a noise machine that didn’t seem to change the temperature or sound no matter which temperature we set the thermostat for. The “desk” was a table slipped under a shelf. It had to be pulled out towards the bed, blocking passage, to let a laptop be opened. We did a lot of getting up to let each other by. (Rm 411). We asked for the AC to be fixed but it wasn’t. The Breakfast was limited. Oh, and you can get two pancakes, but not just one? At least coffee (just one pot, no decaf or hot water for tea) was at no extra charge. But - the building was clean, the staff, including housekeeping, was as pleasant as they could be, and the parking was free. Nice fitness room and outdoor pool.
HHeathBrianGood experience for a two night stay in a very convenient location. Decent room that appeared clean and had good amenities. Good check-in experience and good customer service from the manager on duty that evening. I asked for additional hangers as we had excess clothing to hang up and she brought shampoo to the room as our room did not have any. In all, it was good value for the type of hotel it is. Only negative: their ”breakfast” was coffee and juice (!).
