As soon as I saw this place when I arrived on the bus for a coastal walk, I knew I’d have to come back when I had plenty of time to enjoy it. Firstly, they’ve got more types of cake than everyone else on the island put together, then there are the magnificent views across the ocean. The bar has some very interesting drinks such as the lavender and rosemary lemonade which was delicious and turns out they have great decaf coffee too, no mean feat. All this topped off with very friendly and efficient staff. The coastal walks around here can also be done as a loop back to the hotel and car park or to pick up the bus. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel away from the hustle and sort of bustle of St Peter port .. our room was excellent and the staff were the same .. breakfast was very good .. evening meal a bit pricey but all I can say is you get what you pay for, me and my wife were very happy with that.. bus outside hotel 1.50 to wherever .. 2 minutes to a fantastic coastline ..first time to guernsey but for me it’s like cornwall without the tourism and tat.. if you want McDonald’s, Burger King . Uber , Deliveroo and nightclubs don’t bother .. if you want to chill .. do it .. we left some stuff behind and the hotel were happy to send it home .. excellent service .. Will definitely be back

We recently had a four night break here and have to say our experience at this hotel was faultless. All of the staff were very good and attentive, nothing and was too much trouble! The food was brilliant and it was nice to have freshly cooked breakfast rather than the buffet which seems the norm nowadays. Lovely views and slept well as it is so quiet. We highly recommend and will return. Thank you.

Clean, fairly comfortable, but lack of little niceties in the room that you’d expect from a 4 star hotel, ie. no glasses, bog standard shower gel and shampoo only, awful teabags and no biscuits ( much to husband’s disgust!).Good sized fridge in room. Rooms are very dated and lack any personality. A couple of staff were fantastic, others surly. Breakfast was ok, but some soft and dried fruit would have been nicer instead of plums and tinned mandarins. No one available to check out with or ask if we’d enjoyed ourselves, just a drop box for keys. Whole place felt very impersonal and lacked hospitality to us. It’s pay as you go for dining and drinks hence no settling up to do at reception which I suppose helps with staffing which is difficult everywhere these days.

The hotel is in an Excellent location. Great food and hotel staff were exceptional and friendly Definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms were Clean and tidy. The Views were amazing Great for walks and sightseeing Great stay. Thank you

A very nice setting with excellent views and looking forward to coffee and cake. It's been a few years since we visited this hotel.We found a table inside the bar unfortunately, it had not been cleared from the previous customer(s), none of the staff seemed inclined to either clear the table or take our order. We tried several times to get service, the multiple relies where "we'll be with you in a minute". Some staff seemed to be happy to chat with their colleagues at the counter. Not a good impression. Most disappointingly, the owner was in the cafe but failed to motivate his staff in dealing with customers. After about 15 mins, we left. We are not inclined to make a return visit. We returned to the public car park next door and bought ice from the kiosk. We were served straight away and the picnic tables were free from other customers detritus! Jerbourg take note of this, perhaps you could learn something from the kiosk!
