When we first arrived and got our room key, the room key didn’t work. So then we had to go through the process of new keys and a new room. After we arrived at our second room, the AC wasn’t working. The thermostat said unoccupied room and wouldn’t allow us to turn on the AC. We called down and they sent someone up. When someone arrived, they looked at it as well and said it looked frozen. That they were booked up or they’d just move us rooms, again. They were supposed to have their manager come look at it. We waited until the temperature said 81 degrees in Mid August until I started to mess with it. Eventually, I was able to take a screw out that completely pulled off the thermostat and I held down some buttons until the whole thing eventually reset itself. Then, the AC was able to turn on. I called down to the front desk to let them know that we resolved the issue ourselves. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a thank you or an I’m sorry. The answer I got was “okay” and hung up the phone. I am disappointed at the chaos that happened when we arrived. And I am disappointed at the fact that nobody checked on the status of the AC etc. we had to fix it ourselves or it seemed we’d be sleeping in 85 degrees, but still paying for the full room. I am just disappointed overall. Due to that service experience I wouldn’t stay again.
