堅尼圖斯 Spa 飯店(Kinnettles Hotel & Spa)

The hotel was perfectly located and Schola was beyond wonderful. She explained how everything about breakfast and the spa worked and even walked us across the street to our room to show us how the touch screen hotel information worked. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. She turned on the heater and we got ready and left for the exclusive use of the spa. The spa was great but be advised that there are cameras inside the spa. Sadly good sleep was not in the cards as the bed was extremely lumpy. One of us ended up sleeping on the floor.

Above and beyond was the service received from before we arrived right up until we left this morning. We stayed in a deluxe double room, which was lovely and modern. The bedroom was a very clean room and the bed was very comfy (I am a light sleeper). We used the spa, which was brilliant and the gentleman on reception ensured we had iced water with lemon, fresh towels and offered to assist with whatever we required. Nothing was too much trouble. Prior to arrival the staff also helped me out by contacting local pubs to find out where I may be able to watch the football that night - very helpful! Overall the staff made the stay extra special, the breakfast staff today were very friendly and kind. It is very much appreciated and we cannot wait to book again. Also, the breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel in a long time!

Honestly where to begin? We had booked this hotel as we had previously used the spa and had trea**ents on a previous itison deal and had such a beautiful time with the therapists and were looking forwards to seeing them again. Boy, where we disappointed Room was unclean, dust everywhere, wasn’t entirely sure if the bedsheets had even been changed. Bathroom certainly wasn’t cleaned as there was still rubbish in the bins and the overwhelming smell of sick. Where do I even begin with breakfast? Abysmal, over cooked and just not very nice at all. Spa trea**ents were decent, however missed the friendliness and talents of the previous therapists. The spa was ok as it was exclusive use however there was no water anywhere, towels all over the place, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The ladies changing room had a funky smell to it and the mould in the shower was off putting. It could be a beautiful hotel if cleaned correctly and given a bit of an uplift and it’s in a great location but my goodness does it need a massive overhaul with staff and management. We had booked for 3 nights but left after the first one and spent the rest in the Rusacks which was perfection.

Lovely hotel. Our room was upgraded but pretty standard - works going on out the back so it wasn’t great being woken up at 8am with the sound of glass smashing as the workers ripped out the house out the back. The previous occupant of our room had clearly been sick and tried to clean it up themselves which the cleaners had missed. The smell of sick took over the room and it wasn’t until I stood in the wet spot I noticed it all up the side of the bed. We couldn’t be moved due to them being fully booked so was offered air freshener! a discount or even a free drink would have been appreciated given I’d spent so much on booking the hotel for a proposal/birthday. The bathroom was missing the toilet roll holder which had been ripped off and not replaced and the shower leaked all over the bathroom. Coffee machine was incredibly dirty so I didn’t use it. It’s a nice hotel but I don’t think I’d go back in all honesty.

This was first class week-end stay at Kinnettles Hotel, St. Andrews. Stayed with friends celebrating her 50th birthday.The Hotel was in an great location next to the town with free parking just around the corner. Limited availability,not owned by hotel.Our Rooms,the deluxe double studio were based accross the road in the annex.Lovely decor.Friends stayed in Crail,we were in Gleneagles.Breakfast was very well presented.Eggs cooked to your liking.All of the Staff made us very welcome and satisfied all our needs from our arrival to departure.Check in and leaving very seamless. We plan to return again in the future.

Perfect from start to finish the staff were very friendly helping with any enquiries we had. Rooms were spotless & very comfortable. Mini bar well stocked, although the breakfast wasn’t included we took the option to add this and it was very good with plenty of choice.

Centrally located near free parking, this suited us after a day golfing. We could warm up in the spa where we had exclusive use. We found our suite to be warm spacious and clean, the double bed comfortable. Everything worked as it should, if it took some time to work out . There is a funny unpleasant smell ( cleaning?) in the stairwell , but not in the room. The staff were very polite ,pleasant and informative. Lots of choice at breakfast buffet to suit many tastes. I would stay here again.

Going on previous reviews, hotel stars this place looks and sounds the business. Sadly for my parter and I, that wasn't the case. On arrival we checked in and everything seemed good then we were getting escorted to our room, whilst walking upstairs there was a pungent horrid smell that could only be described as dead fish. Every flight of stairs had a different smell. When we entered our junior suite it looked decent enough for 1 night stay so we had a look around as we always do, opened the blinds to see a view if any, the wardrobe etc. When we opend the fridge we were hit by another pungent smell which can only be described as a fridge that's lay off for two long or milk that's been left inside out of date. (Horrible not a nice smell and stunk the full room out when opened). The final straw for us was how dirty the room and bedding was. (Bedding that's supposed to be fresh may I add) detailed pictures below, there was very noticeable dirty marks on our bedding and we asked for a full refund due to this and didn't stay the night. Refund was given in cash which was decent but for 180 quid a night the place was absolutely mankey and the cleaner should be sacked!!
