Clean facility with a pub and a kitchen for guests to prepare or store their own food. They advertised breakfast as well as dinner but I didn’t see either. No front desk so I was directed to call ahead but I never got an answer or confirmation that I would be met to get my room. The bartender in the pub below apparently is the person who gets you access as this is what happened to me. One shared bathroom for all rooms, I believe, though this wasn’t an issue.

My friend and I stayed in a twin room and paid over £80 for just a room only. On check in my friend almost got charged again for the booking when she was asked to scan her card. It was only for the bank knowing there was a pending payment already for the transaction it did not allow it to go through. The room was basic and we had to share a bathroom. If you want sleep you won’t get it here as the pub has music going on after 12pm. ( The earplugs on the dressing table was a giveaway) ! All I can I say was thank goodness for Weatherspoons for breakfast. We also found out that Weatherspoons had rooms for less than we paid. If you want a hostel style stay with no breakfast and no sleep this is your place. Also you may want to put a covering up at the shared bathroom window. Not very private if you are showering with the light on. !

Paid 102.00 for the night, had a massive bath in a twin room, so had to use the shared shower as I was sharing with my son, it was an expensive room, 1 pillow on a big bed door nob on the wardrobe fell off.

Nice room. Clean, big bath and shower. Very friendly hostess But - I hadn't read the reviews carefully in advance. Facilities are shared - so if other guests elect to stay up till 3;30 chatting, they'll be outside your room. And its a music venue till 2:00 am on a Saturday. Right beneath your room. Bring your noice cancelling headphones!

Showed signs of ware and tare. Seats in kitchen ripped as was the stool in bedroom. Only one bedside light was working. Chipped mugs in kitchen.Shared bathroom wouldn’t be a problem apart frm the fact that I had to navigate steep stairs to get to it. Not ideal. Had to go outside to access room. Niggly things but room overpriced.

10 out of 10, clean, modern and very comfortable Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was no problem, we were very quickly moved to an en-suite. Both rooms, en-suite and standard, were very clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. The en-suite was quite big really, the beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. I would totally recommend a stay at the feathers. There was no breakfast but literally across the road there is a traditional cafe.
