Greeted in English! At 10 pm, coffee/tea and cookies waiting for me to have a snack before bed, available in lobby by check in. Clean room! Clean sheets! Thick towels! Even a clean rag if you needed one! Step in shower, ice cold refrigerator, and in room coffee maker. Window curtains totally closed over window! I had a special but they still did give me a different room at the same price because of handicap. Breakfast was cinnamon rolls, not the prepackaged stuff, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, scrambled eggs, omelet in a pan, biscuits and gravy, waffles, inc chocolate chip, breads to toast, cookies. I may have missed some items. All were friendly and helpful! Good mattress and quiet!

We were pleased with the atmosphere and the decor, impressed, actually, with the "homey" touches in the decor. Loved the giant plants! And the breakfast was delicious every time. My only complaint was the low quality of the toilet tissue. Otherwise, everything was great!

Not many people, rooms need to be updated badly. Thunderstorms…windows and door leaked water all over. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Family owned and family friendly motel. Multiple types of rooms and price points. Have stayed at least 5 times in 3 years. Each room has a different design. Comfortable beds and fridge and microwave. Fantastic breakfast with man6 choices including biscuits and gravy and fresh eggs plus the usual food. Nice pool in back. Lots of room to park.

I was in Russell for the Wicked Wilson gravel race. I needed a room for just one night and this satisfied my needs. It's an older facility as was expected. The staff was very friendly. If you're in need of a more updated facility this probably isn't for you. But for my needs it was fine. The one thing I wish I would have done was to bring my own pillow. I didn't have the breakfast but I heard from fellow riders who did that it was good. Overall I enjoyed my time in Russell. If I ride next year I will be back.

It was a nice, clean place to stay. The one difficulty was the key. It didn't open the door easily. Also, there weren't many plug-in to recharge our phones. Everything else was good!
