里加大飯店

Esteticamente l'hotel non è molto bello ma la posizione, sulla riva del Danubio lo rende comunque intrigante. La piazza principale di Ruse è raggiungibile con circa 15 minuti di cammino. La nostra junior suite era ampia e con mobili moderni ma con una organizzazione dello spazio migliorabile. Cenare nel ristorante interno è un'ottima idea perché si mangia molto bene.

This is literally the only place we stay when we are in Rousse. We've already been here twice this year and are hoping for a third. On our latest visit we had 3 rooms - 5 adults and a 2 year old baby - and everything was just as excellent as we remembered. Can't wait to be back here.

We have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions and it has always been OK. However we went to have a meal there a few weeks ago and it was just awful . Staff were rude ,service extremely slow and the food definitely below standard. It's a shame that the standards have been allowed to slip so badly .

It is a tired old hotel in a pretty tired city. We were there for one night. The check in was complicated. The elevators are something out of another century and take a long time to show up. The room was ok, but when I opened the curtains to view to Danube my windows were covered top to bottom with bird feces (i guess they were nesting up in the overhang). The breakfast was very average, and the staff decided to take the occasion of the busiest breakfast hour to refill the coffee beans and milk in the coffee machine (why didn't this get done before they opened?) and so there was no coffee for about 20 minutes and then a queue. All in all, not impressive.

The hotel is horrible. The building is decrepit, to use a nice word, curtains are black plastic, and so is the floor - who was full of hair. The bathroom smelled decals and the toilet would not flush. Thr breakfast was even more horrid - salami, ham left in a room with no air cond while there were 40 degrees outside. Ty here were 8 guests in the whole restaurant, and when we asked for a table outside, the lady took the crumbs, but did not bother to change the mats until asked to do so. The toilet downstairs was full of papers on the floor. The decoration looks like in thriller movies. The only nice thing was Svilenia, the girl at the reception: she spoke perfect English, had great recommendations for food and drinks, and was so very accomodating. The owner should invest a hefty amount of money both in cleaning and renovating and the training of his staff.

2 grade service, 3 grade food and the hospitality of the terrace employees cannot be rated (below zero). I will never return to this place. a negative experience that I do not wish on anyone, not even for an evening when I stopped on the way to Greece
