The presidential suite we booked was anything but presidential: the only window in the room faces the next building's firewall (no sunlight comes in), the bedside lamps do not have outlets to plug in to (no night light), there's a massage chair that doesn't work, the air-conditioning unit was noisy, limited bathroom amenities (shampoo and soap, that's it), etc. There were no electric outlets around the beds so forget about charging your phone while in bed. The beds were very comfortable though. The staff are generally nice if you talk to them in the local dialect. But most of them don't seem knowledgeable about the services that they offer, and generally lack the hospitable disposition that Ilonggos are well-known for. The souvenir shop offered interesting items, but the person in charge of the shop had no answers to our questions. The location is the one thing that gives this hotel major props, being right at the very center of the city proper. Most interesting spots are 1 to 2 blocks away, and most of the rest are just a tricycle ride away. The city center lights up at night, so be sure to walk around especially across the old bridge in front of the cathedral.

爲了商務目的在這裏住了一晚,急需WiFi。在辦理登機手續時,他們給了我一張WiFi優惠券,後來在我的手機和筆記本電腦上試過了,打電話給前台,說他們將重新啓動WiFi。等了半小時,試了多次,但仍然無法連接到我的設備。第二次給他們打電話,告訴我他們要修好。他們沒有再檢查我有關WiFi的事。太令人失望了。順便說一下,我通過Agoda預訂了房間,豪華的帶婚牀,不含bfast,位於大樓的遠端。如果這是他們的客戶服務風格,用網上旅行社的促銷費率來交換他們有問題的房間.....,對我來說,這樣的拒絕。雖然房間很寬敞,除了我注意到房間裏面的垃圾桶,裏面還有2個人的垃圾(一張蠟紙和一張壁紙)。馬桶很好,只有肥皂和洗髮水,浴盆,冷熱水淋浴,雖然雨淋頭需要更換-堵塞和黴。

We stayed overnight and it was worth it. Room was a little small but it was still ok. Will still choose to stay here in the future.

Alunsina Hotel and Spa Roxas City (Capiz), Philippines 29 May 2024 - 02 Jun 2024 1x Deluxe Suite Booked 31 May 2024 - 02 Jun 2024 1x Deluxe Quadruple Booked Good overall value on price. Great size pool! However, the experience was marred by: 1) The resort location was a little far from SM Roxas and Robinson Malls. Over 15 mins travel time via tricycle or taxi - According from our taxi driver - Roxas City has only 3 working Taxis operated by Southwest Taxis during the period we were staying in Roxas. 2) The onsite cafe and room service closed by 6 pm. Very, very limited drinks/refreshments available after 6 pm. 3) The onsite massage service used offsite staff and we had to wait. After 30 mins wait. We had to chase the staff up to see when the masseuse will arrive at the hotel. In the end, we had to cancel as they still had not arrived and sorted an alternative offsite provider. 4) The breakfast choice was very limited. On one day the pre-order breakfast failed to be served at the pre-arranged time. This was organised the night before. 5) The Main desk in the room, which was connected to the coffee area, had ants crawling around searching for food. If you left an empty candy wrap by mistake on the desktop - the industrious ants would find it and tell their fellow ants. 6) There was no phone in the room so room to room or the front desk/Housekeeping was not available. So you had to walk to the other room to speak to your other family members or go downstairs to get any assistance or help required. 7) Not dog friendly as promoted, no dog bed, but charged the same rate as having an extra person staying in the same room.

The service is just wonderful they do their best to make you happy. I asked upgrade and paid the difference. This is not a star standard hotel but okay anyhow for a pass overnight stay. The private beach doesn't look inviting if you consider the dirt and litters all around. All in all it's gonna be okay for those looking for low budget stay. I couldn't enjoy shower the next morning.I think there is water shortage and problem in this hotel. Breakfast was simple don't expect too.much, no buffet Here. Though clean and good staff. If i can't shower no second time.
