陶伯河上的羅騰堡拉彭飯店(Hotel Rappen Rothenburg ob der Tauber)

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der alten Stadtmauer, perfekt für einen Bummel durch die historische Altstadt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück war ebenfalls reichlich und lecker.

Everything about the hotel met or exceeded my expectations except the parking lot was dangerous. The stalls were too close together in the annex parking lot, the main parking lot was icy, slippery and very dangerous. They should either salt it send it or stay ahead of the ice.

Great hotel... we had the top floor family room with staircase to the loft master bed and half bath. Kids each had their own beds and full bath was on the main floor of the room. Comfortable beds, spacious shower and bathrooms, great views of the surrounding countryside. Good AC as it was very warm mid August. Breakfast buffet was terrific and included with the room price. Free parking another plus. Located right at one of the city gates, perfect location, walkable to everything. 5 min walk to town center for the renowned night watchman tour. There was a fun (but noisy) beer festival in town while we were there so it was nice to stay where it was quieter.

Hostess did not speak much English but was friendly. Room was sufficient with private entrance. It was fine for what we needed. Breakfast was included and was nice to have coffee that we could get seconds. A small villiage atmosphere. Parking on the street.

We enjoyed our room once we complained how hot our original room was. The second one was nice with a small amount of A/C. Our kids room was not quite as hot so they stuck it out with a couple fans. The room is very convenient to the old town. It also had parking which helped out.

Jasmine at the reception desk was very helpful. When we got to our room, the key that goes in the slot for the electricity wasn’t working properly. I came down to yells her and she went to the room with me. Sure enough, it wasn’t working. She had someone come to fix it while we were out. It was so nice to see there were apple gummy treats in our room as well. I loved the location and the ease of parking. We also arrived early and they were able to accommodate us immediately.

Amazing breakfast buffet! Wish the AC could have been stronger but room was large and met our needs. The restaurant apart of the hotel had tasty food but did have to wait sometime to order and get food. They were very busy tho. Couldn’t ask for a better location!
