Le lieu est très beau, le paysage à 360°C est magnifique depuis le lodge. Les petites unités en pierre sont jolies et très bien adaptées au site. Les parties communes et la piscine sont agréables. L'accueil est chaleureux. Néanmoins nous n'avons quasiment pas pu dormir à cause de la chaleur excessive dans la chambre. Nous avions l'impression d'être dans un four. Le ventilateur s'est avéré inefficace. Je comprends les contraintes énergétiques et économiques mais on ne peux pas louer des chambres avec de telles températures ! De plus il nous a été demandé à de multiples reprises si on voulait boire ou manger. Bien sûr ni bouilloire, ni frigo dans les chambres, le mot d'ordre est de consommer. C'était un peu insistant. Ces deux derniers points ont un peu terni notre passage dans ce lieu pourtant magnifique.

Super freundlicher Empfang und toller Service, wir haben vom Koch ein Stück Steak (gewürzt) und ein paar Kartoffeln bekommen für den Braai, welches wirklich super lecker war. Auf der Campsite ist alles liebevoll und stilsicher eingerichtet und die Toiletten und Duschen haben Waschbecken mit Weitsicht. Alles sauber und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Toller View Point für den Sonnenuntergang mit Kpche und gemeinschaftlichem Feuer. Sehr empfehlenswert, besonders auf dem Weg zwischen Swakopmund und Sossusvlei.

Waren nur im Restaurant . Mitten in der Wüste führte uns unser Guide zum Mittagessen hier hin . Wir waren total begeistert . Zimmer haben wir nur von außen gesehen sah aber spannend aus . Haben sehr lecker dort gegessen . Es waren mehrere Gäste dort.

Das Rostock Ritz liegt sehr schön mit weitem Blick über das Land - am besten kann man dies im Pool genießen. Der Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang ist von der Terrasse einzigartig. Das Essen ist hervorragend, der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The location of this lodge is stunning with sweeping views across the desert to the mountains beyond. Ostrich, Oryx and Springbok come down to the water hole below the lodge and mountain zebra can be seen from the extensive trails across the ranch. The restaurant offers a wide selection of meals, all freshly cooked, which can be served outside by candlelight under the African night skies. Undoubtedly, the best pool area that we enjoyed on our trip. The staff are super friendly, helpful and can provide great information about the wildlife and the landscape. We would recommend the sunset drive, superb.

Our small tour group stopped at this lodge for lunch. The lodge is in the middle of nowhere. It is very unique architecture and environmentally aware facility. Everyone loved their lunches. I had the Sirloin of Springbok with chips (French Fries ). The portions were huge - just like all the other lunches. It was my first time having Springbok and it was memorable. The meat, medium rare, was extremely tender, juicy, and tasty. I, in all my 75 years, have never had such a memorable lunch experience. The service was friendly and efficient. The restroom was clean. We all enjoyed our time there.

we used this lodge as a stop halfway in between Sossousvlei and Swakopmund. It was a very relaxing stay. We enjoyed the beautiful and shaded pool area, the stunning views and the fantastic food. All the personnel and the owners were very friendly and helpful, happy to provide recommendations. We definitely recommend to eat dinner outside on the beautiful terrace with gorgeous desert views. The waiters will bring candles to make you as comfortable as possible. You can dine under the stars and enjoy the most delicious Oryx and Springbok steaks. Don't forget to look for the mountain zebras that are roaming freely around the lodge (there was even a cute baby hanging around).

C'est lodge qui ressemble au village de tataouine dans star wars. Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour le déjeuner car étape à mi-parcours entre Walvis bay et Sesriem. On a commencé par une salade de poulet très bonne. Puis un steack de springboks avec des frittes et une glace en dessert. La cuisine est bonne sans être exceptionnelle. Le cadre est magnifique avec ce lodge en plein désert.

Dit hotel heeft een fantastische ligging en is perfect geschikt voor een tussenstop. Het hoofdgebouw heeft WiFi maar zoals bijna overal heeft dat zeer beperkte capaciteit. Het ziet er leuk uit met zitjes een bar en het restaurant gedeelte. Ook is er een mooi terras. De zonsondergang is er spectaculair net als het uitzicht over de woestijn. Er zijn diverse wandelingen te doen vanuit het hotel. Er is een zwembad. De huisjes zien er leuk uit en zijn voorzien van basis voorzieningen. Er is elektriciteit. Geen koelkast. Prima douche.
