德拉大道飯店

Beautiful hotel! Great location! Plenty of restuarants, shops and sites within walking distance. Staff is gracious and helpful! Accommodations are very nice both on room and common areas. I highly recommend Hotel Della Conciliazione.

We enjoyed the location of this hotel as its very close to the Vatican. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options and everything was delicious. The front desk staff was not very welcoming but they did store our luggage before we checked in. When calling to inquire how to get back from the Coliseum after walking many miles in the heat, I was yelled at by a female front desk employee. She was of little help and very frustrating to deal with. It's difficult to flag down a cab in Rome so that's why I called. The rooms were nice but small and overall I gave this hotel a 4 of 5 just based on the front desk staff.

I had originally booked for a three person room but unfortunately my father got ill and was not able to join us. When I was registering at the hotel I asked if I could be placed in a two person room and they said that they didn’t have one. The following day they did move me to a two person room but they did not adjust the rate per night. The second room had a nice view so I left it as is. Although the shower head in the room was broken and the room smelled like sewer. I didn’t want to ruin my trip arguing with the hotel.

Excellent breakfast. Entrance is on a pedestrian only route so you will have carry your luggage about 100 feet from the nearest vehicle access. This did not bother me, but might be an issue for some.
