Is the kind of thing where the reality is better than the photos provided on website. So cute, and elegant. Loved everything. Stayed in room 202 with a beautiful terrace overlooking some Roman historic details. Just magic. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Only the house keeping should bear in mind not to move private things around and keeping things rather we left them. But after we communicated that, all was good.

September 2024, Hotel Vilon located in an alleyway we were pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous interior! The lovely staff were very accommodating reserving white taxi for our departure however we did rely on our own restaurants. Hotel room was very comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view and a terrace down the hall. Very clean! Delicious breakfast with so many buffet choices. Gorgeous lounging area and beautiful old world bar. Only downside was in all of Rome you can smell the sewer systems. I immediately told front desk and they put oil wick bottles huge ones in halls. We cranked up the a/c and it kept the oder away.

A very charming hotel with refined design, every detail is worth to contemplate! The room is stylish and comfortable, the room’s terrace is a masterpiece. We enjoyed the radio with Italian music, it immersed us in the vibe of Rome. The food is excellent, especially breakfast. The tableware deserves special praise! The patio is so cosy, we liked spend there our breakfast. Receptionists were very kind with us, except one moment, when we asked to book a table in a restaurant, and we were told that we dont need a reservation, cause we would find easily a table, not a lot of people. And as a result we came to the restaurant and there were no place. Anyway, we enjoyed a lot our stay in Vilón and beautiful Rome.

Martina Avitabile - I was inquiring about early check-in, not approving 1,600 euros after a conversation with your staff on the phone. They told me that if the room was available, I would be accommodated. I missed that you had cleverly changed the date to the 24th, even when I specifically replied, "No, I am arriving on the 25th," and you should have alerted me during the check-in process. You sneaked this in, hoping people would not catch it—this is unethical practice. I asked your staff if the bedding was the same in every room, and the answer was yes—so I had to suffer through it.

Extraordinary property in a Borghese villa in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of everything. Highly attentive service and the food in the restaurant was delicious, particularly breakfast. And fabulous coffee! Highly recommended.

We were guests at Hotel Vilon. Great location, cool design, quite mediocre food but the real issue was two situations in which the employees were speaking badly, in Italian, about other guests and about. They assumed our Italian wasn't good enough to understand. One situation involved a guest asking if the tap water was clean enough to drink. The employee said yes, but then turned to another employee admitted to not having understood what they were asking and when the other employee told them, the employee called them ******.
