Even tho the inn is right on the pier. There was no family places to eat after 8. Only bars. But on a check in day they only had 1 person at registration that also answers the phones. Had to wait almost 10 min to check in. Room was nice loved being able to walk out and be right at the pool. Has rocking chairs to hang out after swimming before going back into the room.

The air conditioning kept me awake the time I was there. So we left a day early. I was told I could move rooms as there were 2 on the second floor, BUT was told by the maintenance a/c guy that those rooms also had loud A/C’s. I also have trouble climbing stairs as I have a bad back and knee. I was also told by this guy that the new owners are gradually replacing the a/c units but that will take time. The elevator was broken when we were there. We were booked in for 3 nights and left the day before by 11am. I wiykd like to be refunded for the day we didn’t stay. Please contact me. Thank you

The hotel was an absolute delight. Staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Our room was in great location to the pool which our kids loved!! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing! Our waiter/bartender did an excellent job. If you are thinking of staying here, this is a very quaint place and highly recommend it! My family can't wait to come back again.

Relaxing, quiet, breakfat with stay, library, pier. Evening dinner, bar, snack bar available at separate cost. Bay view with balcony was beautiful with rocking chairs.

The elevator was broken, and never been fixed during the stay. Other than that, we had a relaxing great time. Enjoyed walking around the lovely low-key harbor town.

Property was clean and on the ocean. Had view from room/balcony which was excellent. Only negative was noise from air conditioner in room and while sitting on balcony, but could walk out of the hotel and sit by ocean without that noise.

We love Rockport. We've been going there every year, at least once a year, always staying at The Lighthouse Inn. The hotel is practically on the water. The views on the Bay of Aransas are stunning. The dolphins come daily very close to the shore, we see a Blue Heron and a Great Egret checking the fishing port next door.
We also loved the food they served in their own restaurant, but there is also a great seafood restaurant, Charlotte Plumbers, within a walking distance, and a few authentic, great Mexican food restaurants (Jalisco was our favorite) nearby.
