When we got here at 5:45 pm, the staff said that our room was taken and he had to give us another room for $50 more. (We let them know ahead of time that we wouldn’t get to the hotel until between 5 & 6 pm just like we were instructed to do by Expedias instructions). Then they said the parking garage was full and we could park out on the street a few blocks away but we would have to move our car somewhere before 7 am or get a ticket or towed. Totally unacceptable! After check in we didn’t dare leave to go eat and scope out where our early morning appointment was or who knows where we would have had to park when we got back. Therefor we had to eat on premises. No relaxing dinner out. Also, there was a winter storm forecasted by morning and who knows what that is going to be like with our car parked on the street. The check in staff could care less about us. Fortunately the waitress was very nice and the room very comfortable. Something needs to be done about the check in process and the parking accommodations!!!!
