We had a very good time and very clean and very nice staff. The room were very clean. The bathroom was very nice the hot water was good the wifi worked great and the bed were so nice I almost stayed another night. We will come back and do service again thank you

This place was disgusting, door broken paint peeling off, floors hadn't been swept or mopped in months. Bed disgusting asked for sheets to be cleaned brought us some sort of clean ones but we had to cha ge them. Shower gross, we had to clean microwave and fridge to even use them. No air conditioning it was 78F we cooked all night, exposed electrical wires on fan control no cover. Will never use this or any motel 6 ever again. We were trapped to stay as nowhere near there took pets. We had just driven 20 hours. Window wouldn't lock properly. And outside was even worse garbage everywhere. People wandering around all night.

The ultimate in no-frills lodging. Very shabby looking overall. Numerous cigarette burns in the curtain. Trash bag was not emptied from previous people staying there. No lampshades. Only one little soap (most places give you one for the sink and one for the shower). Only one bath towel, I had to ask for more, and she handed me the small size hand towels, or else I think they were actually the bathmat towels. There was no shelf in the shower for putting your soap down. There was this huge black jumping spider that landed on me a couple times til I finally managed to kill it. That was pretty gross. My room reservation was for a microwave but there wasn't one, though this could be a *********** issue. I'd never go there again.

DO NOT STAY HERE Booked a room here for two nights through ***********. Upon arrival the AC was not working and wouldn't be fixed for at least a week according to the front desk associate. The front desk associate cancelled our reservation and stated we would receive the full refund through ***********. Contacted Booking up a week later for the refund status and they stated that the reservation was cancelled and they are waiting for a manager to sign and return the cancellation slip from Motel 6. Booking informed myself that they were instructed by Motel 6 that this would process the following night, and that Booking would have the refund issued in 3-5 Business days. 22 Days later - Still no Refund. Contacted booking, they stated that they are still waiting for the signed confirmation that states we didn't stay there. They suggested we call Motel 6 and do their job for them to get the signed document emailed over. I called Motel 6 and they were EXTREMELY RUDE. Stating, "MY MANAGER RESPONDS TO ALL EMAILS NIGHTLY!" and "WE'VE ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH BOOKING. THIS IS A BOOKING ISSUE AND YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM!" After asking for their managers name and to provide some sort of assistance, Emily answered and stated that herself and another manager respond to all emails that day. She stated its a booking issue and to contact them up." Very unhelpful. So I contacted booking up again to see where my funds were. Here's the breakdown. Booking pays Motel 6 through a virtual credit card for a guests stay. At the time of check-in, that virtual card is charged, and Motel 6 receives the funds. However, since the reservation was cancelled, the funds were never used from the virtual card as the balance remains the same. Booking stated even though they still have the funds, they cannot refund anything until a confirmation is received from Motel 6 stating that we didn't stay there. Even though if we would of stayed there, the virtual card would have a $0.00 balance. Booking stated that they reached out multiple times to Motel 6 and have not received a response. I asked booking what would happen if Motel 6 never responds. Booking stated then I would never receive a refund. Booking wants me to contact Motel 6 and chase them down for the confirmation, and Motel 6 wants me to deal only with Booking. I shouldn't have to track down anything. If they can't communicate with each other and follow policy, Booking shouldn't offer this Hotel on it's platform. This is ridiculous from both parties. I'm blowing the whistle on this one. BBB, Corporate, whoever I have to go to. Unacceptable.

Some of the most amazing people I’ve encountered in my travels. They do their absolute best to accommodate your needs and the rooms are really clean. I will definitely be using this location anytime I return to the Pittsburgh area.

The staff was nice and helpful but I don't think anyone should stay here. Very strong smoke smell Hotel needs an update. Lots of arguing and the Police did show up. We stayed here because it was the lowest price but everyone showed spend a bit extra and stay someplace else. I never write bad reviews

Worst place I have ever stayed. We were attending a Pirates game on May 20th. We got to our hotel at 2:40 PM. The game started at 4:05. So we went to check in. The clerk wanted 20 dollars cash for early check in. Sounds to me like extortion. So we waited 20min to avoid the cash payment. There are permanent residents there with fans in the windows because there in no AC. Not it really gets weird when we couldn't locate a trashcan in our room and there were paw prints on our sheets. Also, you could smell where my permanent resident beside my room was smoking pot and the fan was blowing out the smoke. additionally, our shower door wouldn't close. If you look at the wood on the hotel its rotting. What also struck us odd was that management and one of the cleaners which was at 7:30 pm still cleaning rooms own very expensive vehicles. Shady characters were coming in and out of the hotel complex. Our opinion after observing this was they were using the hotel as a front for *********ing. If this represents motel 6, I will never stay there or any of Blackstone's hotels period. This motel is very unsafe, very dirty, NO AC! well at least the TV worked but I never again will stay there. Its now a Ghettos Apartments for *****, etc.

To many people use this place as a permanent residence. It’s trashy. Years and years ago it was a decent property. They check you into rooms that are dirty with unmade beds. You will not feel safe staying here.

First time in Pittsburgh, I came to perform stand up comedy for 3 days in the city. This room was reasonable and 15 bus ride from Downtown. I was only at the motel late at night to sleep and in the morning until about 10:00 a.m. Luckily, I became friendly with a few motel guests whom ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. So I had a good time visiting newfound friend's motel rooms in the morning, chatting, sipping coffee, and having some good laughs before adventuring the city before comedy show later. Then return to motel, chat with newfound friends for a bit and then go relax in my own room. In my experience, it felt like a family and community vibe there. I can imagine the rooms are not all extremely clean however my room was not terribly dirty. If I could do it over again, I would have brought some slippers to wear after removing my shoes and socks. The four different rooms of people I interacted with may not be there when I plan to return in June 2023, so I'm not sure if I will get luckily enough to meet people there I felt like I've known for a long time like previous stay. Yet I'm hopeful it will be a similar positive vibe as far as the community feel there.
